Community Baby Shower and Resource Fair

As #MaternalHealthAwarenessMonth comes to a close, we recognize the tremendous work of MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital Center and Clinton Baptist Church on their first Community Baby Shower and Resource Fair!
Together, we celebrated new and expectant mothers by sharing life-saving resources and strengthening the supportive safety net that we hope will lead to a lower maternal and infant mortality rate in Prince George’s County. This event is just one example of how we are working to tackle maternal health disparities by addressing medical and non-medical needs in all of our communities.
