Great video! The AI Noise Cancellation helped remove sounds of family outside my room when I game and it removed typing and clicking sounds when I can still have my microphone upside down and up beside my monitor and not near my face, but I sound quality enough with no awful feedback or echo thanks to the equalizer. A much appreciated like for your video

I know right? No you don’t need it. Is more simple and I really like the background AI. Also less plugins less cpu usage as well. Not only is great for the mic but also you can EQ your chat incoming and your audio as well.

Hello Syco_FN! Thank you for watching! If you are not using at AI on sonar the background noise reduction and or the threshold is not a best settings that I can recommend because if I tell you what I use, my room environment may be different than yours. So my recommendation is play with, test. The goal is to no only remove any background noise but able to sound natural. Tip: the closer the mic is from your mouth the better will sound. I always being use that way.

Never try as I don't use voice mod , but I think it will work just by knowing that your mic from sonar will send all the EQ to voice mod where you will add sonar mic there as your mic, and on OBS or SLOBS, you use voice mod as your main mic. Now I don't know how the quality will be at the end of this setup, but I believe it works. Let me know if it worked and if the quality is still the same after you pass through voice mod.

Eu fiz um video recente usando so plugins nativos do OBS que tambem sao bons. O video que fiz com os plugins muito tempo atraz ainda sao validos mas esses nos novos videos sao mais opcoes mas sao bom s tambem, como Sonar por exemplo, tudo que voce equaliza la nao soment pode usar no OBS mas em qualquer programa no PC, ate mesmo in game chatting direto no jogo.
the equalizer is not the same in my sonar. I can put the leavers up, down and right and left . in your video you can only do this settings up and down. What iam doing wrong?
Hey bestian!! Thank you for watching! So on the EQ just copy the values on each section and it will put on the right spot of the EQ. There are 3 parts just add the value and you will have same EQ I show on the video but you can adjust to your voice after that.

im starting to really hate this mic. ive done everything to make my keyboard not be heard and it sitll picks it up. i have a steel series keyboard. i have nvidia broadcast with noise suppression on and this mic will pick up my keyboard still. i have the gain down. going to try this out see if it helps
Hey crazymonkey! Is your mic on the boom arm or on the desk? Also yes this mic is very sensitive. I use a more quiet type keyboard that also helps but being on the boom arm is ideal since won’t stay to close to keyboard.
How does sonar compare to nvidia broadcast? I've been wanting to switch from broadcast for quite some time but their filters are miles ahead of anything else I've tried.

i cant enable the clearcast ai noise cancellation, it says that the feature isn't available for my device and i just downloaded steelseries for the first time today, does anyone know why?

The settings below i did play with and it can achieve a very similar quality, still better in my opinion than Nvidia one on obs 29. I will update this video if they unlock this feature to no SteelSeries headphones users.
Hey ! Are you using OBS for recording? Check any addition of compressor besides sonar on your software where you record. Sometimes having too much can cause that. Also, check your mic in raw sound to see if is not a mic issue as well. Other than that I would need more info to help you with more things so sorry you having this issue. 😩
well no , im on a windows 11 and using the sound recording system in came with. I've even spoken with support and they dont know what the issue is and im wooried as i bought it almost a year ago and afterawhile through away the reciept. @@RodiBroGamer

Fala firexwow! Então exatamente no momento não tenho como checar o quanto cpu usa mas no meu pc que é um I9 10850k não impact quase nada qualquer coisa que uso no pc. Minha opinião faz o test download faz um restore point no Windows e testa no seu setup. Se não impactar usa tranquilo se não volta no restore antes de instalar

Now for background and keyboard noise reduction use the Clearcast AI. With the new update sonar software recently you should be able to use even if you don’t own a steelseries headphones.

@@MrIrishPewPew So if you want to use instead of sonar and use plugins on obs I did a video more than a year ago but the plugging stillbe very usufull and in there I use a removal /compressor. Now if you have obs 29, you can use the nvidia noise removal but you need a rtx type GPU.

@@CanalSaveRoom I can make a video to address this soon in case anyone else need to know this. But for now go to obs settings , then output tab, then recording. You will see several tracks . Usually everything is in track 1 but you can separate a specific track if you want. Do you use obs for more things or you just want to record your voice ( audio file )?
@@CanalSaveRoom Ok that’s fine . If you record that way when you bring that footage to an edit software like da Vinci resolve or Adobe Premiere it will have 2 audio files your voice and gameplay so you can edit if you want. Is this your goal ?
Does this work for Discord as well? I mean when I use mine without noise suppression I can hear my keyboard and mouse and background but when I use noise suppression I sound like a fricking robot ... not really but bad I also use the Hyper X Quadcast but I don't the arm thing because I didn't think I need it so I use it with the standard thing you get when you bought it. Do I really need to buy the arm for the mic because they can hear when I use my keyboard and my mouse.

Hey cappercor! No bothering at all. At this moment the AÍ is available only if you have a headphone from steelseries. Not sure when they will let enable when the person don’t have but on the settings below if you play around a little bit it will give good resorts as well.
For the microphone input, my HyperX Quadcast does not appear as an option. Only my wireless stereo headset for output and game. How do go about fixing this?

Hey norbertmagy2191! Thank you for watching! The AÍ clearing is probably no available to you because you don’t have any steelseries headset. At the time I recorded the video I didn’t know but I already contacted them to see if they unlock that feature even if you don’t have it. My response from that was that they may do that with a software update but not sure at this point. If you use the other features the compressor and etc there you can get very close to the AÍ quality. I did test that and still pretty good.

So this mic is very sensitive but 2 things maybe could be the cause of echoing relate to your room if is tile and not carpet and if the mic is not to close to your mouth and your gain on the mic itself is too high. Besides that if this is not the issue best thing is to record a audio on sonar and see if this maybe relate to the EQ . If you want to share the audio with me on discord let me know so I can hear and help you further ok?
@@maki8856 So there is a place you can check if your game audio is checked. On OBS settings , go to output tab and go to recording tab. Check if the track 1 is checked. If is not this is why no audio come out when recording the game. Let me know if this was the issue.
@@jaimelovelyy Hi Jaime. Check in general ( settings ) on GG and turn on BETA OPT-IN that could resolve this issue. Other question do you have any headphone from steelseries? If you do you don’t need that but also I being seeing recently that if you have this on win 10 when update to win 11 it unlock. Not sure why yet but I’m looking as well. Also make sure you login into your steelseries account as well. If you don’t have it open one and loving with it in sonar. Let me know if any of this help you.

@@KozyKubGam3r not really. You can use your mic from sonar with EQ without the background removal and on the source on OBS using the sonar mic add the RTX removal plugin . Will be good tho.

The settings below i did play with and it can achieve a very similar quality, still better in my opinion than Nvidia one on obs 29. I will update this video if they unlock this feature to no SteelSeries headphones users.

Hey ! Are you using OBS for recording? Check any addition of compressor besides sonar on your software where you record. Sometimes having too much can cause that. Also, check your mic in raw sound to see if is not a mic issue as well. Other than that I would need more info to help you with more things so sorry you having this issue. 😩
well no , im on a windows 11 and using the sound recording system in came with. I've even spoken with support and they dont know what the issue is and im wooried as i bought it almost a year ago and afterawhile through away the reciept. @@RodiBroGamer
hey i noticed that i have a audio delay when using this. it sounds amazing but i talk in game and it gets through like 3 seconds later. how do i fix that?

Fala firexwow! Então exatamente no momento não tenho como checar o quanto cpu usa mas no meu pc que é um I9 10850k não impact quase nada qualquer coisa que uso no pc. Minha opinião faz o test download faz um restore point no Windows e testa no seu setup. Se não impactar usa tranquilo se não volta no restore antes de instalar
I record in audacity but its on left speaker only , why?
Hey, thuggy67! Thank you for watching! On Audacity did you choose to record in stereo or mono? I believe Sonar is sending the left channel only there and you probably need to choose mono so it can come out on both sides.

Hey Mririshpewpew! Thank you for watching! You still can use the settings for your Hypercast Solo from this video but adjust a little to your like it , it should give you a nice sound as well. Now for background and keyboard noise reduction use the Clearcast AI. With the new update sonar software recently you should be able to use even if you don’t own a steelseries headphones.

@@MrIrishPewPew So if you want to use instead of sonar and use plugins on obs I did a video more than a year ago but the plugging stillbe very usufull and in there I use a removal /compressor. Now if you have obs 29, you can use the nvidia noise removal but you need a rtx type GPU.

Hey minitehnicuss!Tha k you for watching!It should . Install sonar on your streaming pc and add your mic there. I usually when I stream from my ps5 I have on my gaming pc but would be the same. Note that you will need to have a steelseries headphone to unlock the AÍ C for now.

Hey CanalSaveRoom! Thanks for watching! Just add audio source on OBS and choose sonar microphone as your mic source since your mic will pass through sonar with your EQ to OBS. Then press record and will record your mic from sonar will all the EQ .

@@CanalSaveRoom I can make a video to address this soon in case anyone else need to know this. But for now go to obs settings , then output tab, then recording. You will see several tracks . Usually everything is in track 1 but you can separate a specific track if you want. Do you use obs for more things or you just want to record your voice ( audio file )?
@@RodiBroGamer I use OBS to record gameplay with sound and after that I change to track 2 where is my mic and record my voice.
@@CanalSaveRoom Ok that’s fine . If you record that way when you bring that footage to an edit software like da Vinci resolve or Adobe Premiere it will have 2 audio files your voice and gameplay so you can edit if you want. Is this your goal ?
Does this work for Discord as well? I mean when I use mine without noise suppression I can hear my keyboard and mouse and background but when I use noise suppression I sound like a fricking robot ... not really but bad I also use the Hyper X Quadcast but I don't the arm thing because I didn't think I need it so I use it with the standard thing you get when you bought it. Do I really need to buy the arm for the mic because they can hear when I use my keyboard and my mouse.
Hey MasterUltrage! Thank you for watching! Yes it can work with discord. Now when you use your mic on sonar on discord disable all compressor or mic enhancement. I suggest get a arm because when I was using with the stand it does pick a lot the keyboard

Hey cappercor! No bothering at all. At this moment the AÍ is available only if you have a headphone from steelseries. Not sure when they will let enable when the person don’t have but on the settings below if you play around a little bit it will give good resorts as well.

For the microphone input, my HyperX Quadcast does not appear as an option. Only my wireless stereo headset for output and game. How do go about fixing this?
Hey hi! Thank you for watching! Is your mic appear on the sound settings on windows? If does it Sonar should pick up your mic as an option. Also check if you updated Sonar for the later version they just sent an update.

Hey cumbas! Thank you for watching! It should! You need to choose for mic your sonar mic as the main mic because you mic will need to passthrough sonar to give on audacity the EQ and compressor that you need.

Hey Zesta! Yes is free. There being some issues on win 10 for some people and some updated to win 11 and all functions was unlocked. Also check on settings and click to enable Beta OPT- IN.

Hey norbertmagy2191! Thank you for watching! The AÍ clearing is probably no available to you because you don’t have any steelseries headset. At the time I recorded the video I didn’t know but I already contacted them to see if they unlock that feature even if you don’t have it. My response from that was that they may do that with a software update but not sure at this point. If you use the other features the compressor and etc there you can get very close to the AÍ quality. I did test that and still pretty good.

So this mic is very sensitive but 2 things maybe could be the cause of echoing relate to your room if is tile and not carpet and if the mic is not to close to your mouth and your gain on the mic itself is too high. Besides that if this is not the issue best thing is to record a audio on sonar and see if this maybe relate to the EQ . If you want to share the audio with me on discord let me know so I can hear and help you further ok?

@@maki8856 So there is a place you can check if your game audio is checked. On OBS settings , go to output tab and go to recording tab. Check if the track 1 is checked. If is not this is why no audio come out when recording the game. Let me know if this was the issue.

@@jaimelovelyy Hi Jaime. Check in general ( settings ) on GG and turn on BETA OPT-IN that could resolve this issue. Other question do you have any headphone from steelseries? If you do you don’t need that but also I being seeing recently that if you have this on win 10 when update to win 11 it unlock. Not sure why yet but I’m looking as well. Also make sure you login into your steelseries account as well. If you don’t have it open one and loving with it in sonar. Let me know if any of this help you.

@@KozyKubGam3r not really. You can use your mic from sonar with EQ without the background removal and on the source on OBS using the sonar mic add the RTX removal plugin . Will be good tho.
