Hello @kortesch8420 ! Thank you for watching! You are right. At the moment of this video they didn't have those capabilities and along this year they updated allowing to have up to 4k 30 Pass and capture with HDR and Avermedia Pass and capture up to 4k144 HDR. I will post her and long a comment to update this information as at the time of this video they didn't have those aspects available. Thanks for bring that up 👍👍

@RodiBroGamer No I think you were actually right. I just looked at the AverMedia documentation (Cant paste the link) and it also states that HDR Capture only works with up to 4K30. I think it's a bandwidth issue with USB 3 and we need to wait until USB 4 for external 4K60 HDR. Until then, only PCIe capture cards like the Elgato 4K Pro will be able to capture in 4K60 HDR.

@@henkinstein Thank you for watching! Elgato is great 👍🏻. I’m using the avermedia so far is being really solid for me. I would recommend Elgato if I didn’t have ether one just because I had Elgato capture card in the pass and was always great for me.

@RodiBroGamer brother am buying a 360hz monitor so I think 4kx won't pass through 360 is that going to be a problem for me while streaming and playing ?

@ Nice!! Congrats on the monitor!! So if you use the pass through on the elgato 4K X it will only cap you on 4K 144Fps or 1440p 240 meaning you will not be able to use the monitor passing this framerate.

@ passthrough on Avermedia 2.1 live gamer is the same as the elgato 4K X.

@@KrowtennetworK A lot change since this video tho but now to connect both go to Lumia app, go down to your left to connections and choose OBS . If you have OBS 30V or later websock is in the OBS and Lumia should now pickup auto. Let me know if works. Thanks for watching !👍🏻😁

Hey akasomh! Thanks for watching! If you use your mic with sonar on your laptop for streaming, the mic with all the EQ and all will work on your live stream. Now not sure on gamechat on the console but i think if the console have a option to choose which will be steelseriessonar mic then it will work there as well.

AverMedia they have really bad customer service and the live game ultra 2.1 have resolution issues if you play games i full screen and forces you to play in borderless full screen, and yes i have the live game ultra 2.1 and have been trying to get this fix but avermedia is leaving me in the dust and not helping

@ That’s sucks 😫 I have not experienced any issues on that in my setup as I play in 1440p all my games or 4K sometimes. So far have not deal with the customer service. Do you still have time to return it?

Hey Sleepyyhero! Thanks for watching! It should as you need to select in game mic to use a sonar microphone that is routing your mic with EQ.

Yes I used 16bit since it defaults and is the max for recording on OG HiperX Quadcast but you can change and use 24bit if you have the Quadcast 2 or 2 S which for recording gives you more dynamic range to work with. Yes can sound better but this also proves that 16bit is not bad as well if you EQ correctly . Thanks for point it out 👍🏻😁

@@Арина-г9я7л Hi! You need to test to see how it sounds to you on your voice. You can use it this setting but you will need to tweek to your voice and mic you are using. I would use this setting as a start point.

Hello @sumprec4u !! Thank you for watching! I connected using the USB-C dongle from the Mic. If you have a older iPhone than 15 you may need a adaptor from usb-c to lighting connection.

@@mirellacortez2231 Hi! Thanks for watching! It should work on discord . When you EQ on discord you need to choose the sonar mic into the discord so it can capture the mic with EQ.
