those srm450s go on forever ,the bit of kit ive had for 5 years still going strong is my 4x martin audio ws218x subs they still know how to rattle a venue
Good to see they're still working Mark! I had those mk1s for many years too, awesome speakers for the price back then. Then as you know went to Yamahas and FBTs, so the same tastes in high quality speakers! :D
Great Video Mark. I have the same V1's defiantly the best. Im still using them with a Mackie 15" Sub as well. Got a party Saturday maybe ill get some footage and put it up.
You should do a little rejuvination project on them pull them apart spray them black again. I heard they can be a real sort after speaker by some OG DJs.
Actually "inherited" a pair of srm 450 gen 1 and a pair of matching Srs1500 subwoofers. They look, work and sound like new. Absolutely crazy what abuse these things can take.
Got a set srm450 v1 mines lay in a garage for 3yrs before a bought them brilliant kit still sound really good well done on your video

Regular garage sort outs are critical otherwise we end up hourders! I need another cleanse. Great vid as always mate
Totally agree, I’ve got far too much kit, really need to let some go! Lol😊
Another Top Notch video Mark. Brilliant speakers & a great collection of stuff you have in your garage
Thank you, too much kit tbh 😅
Great vid, and speakers.......your welcome 👍😀

Ive forgotten how good they really are, proper workhorses, cheers for the comments bud
Are the V2's as good ?
How heavy are they? I'm looking at the v3's of these speakers. Are they manageable?
I feel like you have more working gear squirrelled away in that garage than I own lmao :D

Good idea buddy, I'll do that

You need some Back To Black spray cans. Sound Awesome.
Defo Baz, time to show them some love
Mackie is the best brand for budget and high end system they they just last for ever
I need only behind amplifier
These were the original powered monitors for the early 2000’s
I have a pair of these. They’re just so heavy. Just about every jbl prx weighs at least 15 pounds less
I still use mine at times i have 4 of them
Little tip to clean up scratches..hair dryer or heat gun waving over brings them up a treat
Cheers Jimmy, i should sell them tbh 😊
RCF back then!
