This is good but toothpaste doesn't contain sugar instead it contains sweeteners like sorbitol

Then sugar is not healthy for teeth and the sls is sodium lauryl sulfate not laureth and it's level seems more then 1,5%

Weldone. But I think that is not the way to dissolve your cmc. Carboxymethyl cellulose (cmc) is soluble is water at room temperature. Dissolving it separately before mixing it with calcium carbonate is better. Also I don't think it right to also dissolve sls in this way. Why not soap it with water at room temperature before blending everything together. Also why use sugar and glycerin at the same time? Both are sweetening agents. What grade of cmc, calcium carbonate, sls did you use? Not specified. Why are fluoride and mentol missing in your recipe?

Fluoride is not good at all for the body. They say it is but it isn't that's why a lot of people are making their own toothpaste. You don't need fluoride in your toothpaste.
