IMO Valentina is a very situation hero tbh, despite the endless combination of combos she have. It all depends on the heroes and how both teams are played. There are moments that Valentina can dominate or ended up feeding when ever she's played for some reason in my server.
That's because she's an all rounder hero. If you know how to play all roles and most heroes then Valentina will shine for you but if don't even know how to adjust, especially in high ranked games and play only some heroes, you aren't making full use of Valentina hence the feeding and failed attempts.

I played Valentina in Classic and had 3 flunked matches initially. In the 4th match, somehow, we had a very good Grock who didn't mind getting killed early on. I scored a Maniac and almost had a Savage had the last person not dashed inside the turret! My HP was low and I decided not to risk it. Overall, I'd say Valentina is a quick finisher and as the game progresses to the 20 minute mark, she becomes more and more obsolete. Push turrets as much as possible.

imo the strongest part isn't her ult as that is really enemy dependent. What makes her op is her passive regeneration. Even if u r not the core, even as a roamer, you can heal almost everytime when u hit your enemy since you get tons of free exp when hitting heroes
I like to build her with some tanky items like athena and antique and even immortal with just bloodwings and holy crystal. that was she can copy tanks and soak a lot of dmg while setting up good fights. at the same time still able to deal a lot of dmg when copying mage or fighter
Valentina can be easily countered by selecting certain heroes. While she is good for several situations, her weakness is essentially her reliance in Hero engagements. You can essentially easily deprave her early game by literally avoiding engaging her. Her passive relies on healing and obtaining additional exp on attacking heroes afterall. This is why your teammates were laughing earlier since Jungle/roam Valentina is essentially relying on you to encounter enemies trying to invade and doing ganks. Your passive is useless on jungle afterall. Also her s1 has reduced CD after you cast s2. S2 essentially has a Cyclops Passive that allows you to spam s1 in a combo with your s2.
Some cases I find her able to harass kagura really easily. And plus so she can dash twice is very difficult to dodge. And she'll keep sidestepping you. And one of her main weaknesses is copying uilts that don't help. And she needs her core items to become a necessary in late game.

This has nothing to do with the video but, I started to watch betosky by accident, I remember watching a video of him saying “keep an eye on the map,” “make sure you’re not out of position,” and those words burned my memory so much that it helped me improve a lot. The people that I played with were the people I used to look up to but, now I feel I’m on the same level as them. Honestly, watching these videos helped me a lot, I’m a multi roll player and till this day I can say I’ve succeeded with my goal, I’m proud of what I learned and how I improved. I had so many goals and this season I completed them. Read Valentina's Passive, she heals if she's a level ahead of her enemies. This means you don't need Concentrated Energy but you should use Fleeting Time to reduce her Ult CD. Just a thought, it might help you. :)
nope, fleeting only works on her copied ult and not the main ult, that is if she is transformed form. that's why it isn't really good to have fleeting time.
Correcto! Concentrated Energy just bumps up your Spell Vamp a little, since you already have a lot built-in, also just makes you easier to counter using anti-heals. Oracle might be a better buy, or even brute force breastplate. They make your heals worth a lot more per point.
Fleeting time is useless with Valentine's if you want cdr go for enchanted talisman her ult only reset the copy form not the ult itself and the concentrated energy what of your on late game stages? So you can't really have a heal if both of you and your enemy have the same level

Most say that Valentina is like The Copy Ninja: Kakashi, but I personally think that she's more like Neito Monoma from MHA. Kakashi copies their jutsu without changing his appearance, and Monoma gains certain physical traits when copying someone's quirk.
Are u epic? Mage as a jungler is very strong when that mage either has very high burst damage like kimmy and cyclops or can stay in battle for long like harith and esmeralda. Valentina has both so she is a good jungler. Moreover no one is doing the jungler role properly nowadays so betosky is carrying himself with that role. He already mentioned it.

But this mage got some OP mechanics like EXP advantage and sustain Her skill 1 might have a mechanic closely similar to cyclops low cooldown that is also further deductible by skill 2, Mobility is also there, disable might be a bit difficult to pull off but there is still disable. Damage is not to OP but with the right build (Cooldown reduction mostly) It can also be OP My own build Red Boots, Enchanted Talisman, Lightning Truncheon These 1st 3 items bring any Mage's Cooldown to 45% (since we have 5% on mage emblem 10 + 20 + 10 +5) Last 3 can be situational Going for Clock of destiny, holy crystal and bloodwings, you go both magic power and durability. These last 3 items Should do fine
Fun fact: If you want to get your ulti fast then you need to press the button where you need to go back to Valentina (you can only press it if the ultimate you copied is completely useless or you don't know how to use it, NOT if the ultimate you copied is short [ex: 12 seconds and below] ), If you practice this then you wouldn't need to buy fleeting time and save one slot for a damage item or defense item
I find that picking phoveus against valen can really help your team. She realies alot on her 1 and 2nd skill. Phoveus is good against dash heroes, you don't need to wait until she finishes her ult. Phoveus ult is useless anyway without dash heroes on yout team for her to use. Encountered one with my first match with valen and it was an easy win. Just kept on ulting me.
Phoveus ult is still useful. Because for that u need enemy phoveus, which is surely a pain for your team. So if you copy his ult and he ult, his ult will trigger your ult and your ult will trigger his ult. You can easily win in that situation because his 1st skill needs to be stacked and second is just to activate ult or CC. But you have spammable 1st skill and second skill which will restore your HP. Even though phoveus gets shield it'll be gone after few seconds but Valentina got 60% lifesteal. So it's win win. You can save you ally with blink or kill enemy with blink

And how she has not just one but two dashes that most mages don't have. Makes it much easier to rotate, tank and get out of team fights.
