I use a beiter nocking point, the type with the shoulders on, I've filled a couple of notches into the leading edge of my Cavalier tab for a positive location. I can place my fingers on the string by touch, identical each time with no vertical variation. Don't ask about the rest of the shot... The start is always good!
Hey Ashe, can you go about how to change the default strap on the finger tab to a nylon one or similar material and have it wrap neatly around the middle finger. I see a lot of archers use it and it just looks really clean
Hi Ashe, if you'd explain the difference between angular and linear draw? George Ryals explained on Sjef's program that it is about the bend of wrist during the set up, but I wonder how you see the difference? Thanks a lot!
Dear Ashe, would you please shed light on the leather slit between index and middle fingers. How wide/narrow should it be? I'm struggling with as I think too wide slit so that I should carefully place fingers on the string to have the hook consistent. Thank you
Wondering if you've ever tried the Fairweather Modulus tab. It's quite different to other tabs and uses kangaroo leather rather than cordovan so quick to break in. I've got one with the metal pro plate and I feel like that works well for me. The KSL Gold is quite popular in our club but when I tried one it wasn't for me.
Hi Ashe, quick question for you. At 6:15 how is that tab being fastened? I've noticed many Korean archers don't have the usual toggle on the outside of the tab like we do so assumed they must have some method of tightening the finger loop on the inside like this. Presumably it lets them tighten it more. Have you come across this much?
