Everyone has his palate. I find them all enjoyable. For me in the case of CS it's better to protect one's liver, throat and guts with some dilution. Have you ever tried the Contrasts Triple distilled? Thank you for this capsule.
I agree that if you drink a whole lot, some dilution is needed but for me I nurse a CS whisky for about an hour in normal times and honestly more ofthen than not I don't enjoy the water effect. Somerhing always dies with water and I prefer to keep them alive 😃 I have the triple distilled and the kiln dried versions but I've not tasted them yet, too many open bottles right now
@@thewhiskyenthusiastI agree. I rarely enjoy the effect water has on Whisky, even at CS strength. That’s not to say there aren’t odd occasions when water improves the whisky, but for me it’s the exception not the rule.
Nice comparison.
The Peat smoke editions are my favorite.

It feels like whatever Benromach does, they do well. Cheers John 🥃
Well done very interesting
First one too phenolic (cask related?) and better with water I think
Thank you! We all have our preferences and yours seem to be exact opposite of mine and I respect that 😃
they release a yearly Batch 1 bottling => creative marketing
Hah that is savvy!
