@johnsherwood9960 The subpoenas are for various records, identifying town employees that work for Tiffany and contracts with companies owned by the town administrator, who is currently being prosecuted for bankruptcy fraud. So the investigation is likely into corruption and fraud involving both of them.

IF the staff feels afraid, it is the Mayor's responsibility. This village would not be making national news, and receiving disgusting calls, if the Mayor was transparent and ethical. They need to hold her accountable. Fortunately several trustees are doing just that.
