I love how there's no pretentiousness to Thou - no big stage production etc. Just 6 people playing music.

There's nothing wrong with some stage theatrics. That doesn't make a band pretentious. That being said, some bands just work better like this. Stripped down and raw. Its befitting for the genre.
@@raceblakhart4941You’re not wrong, but Thou isn’t afraid to play in a festival or a house. Been on the latter side of that and it was amazing. No stage lights, just a light bulb over them. Saw them do it numerous times. 4 piece, 5 piece- always insane.

“Into the Marshlands” is maybe a top five riff for me, hearing it live with three guitars is so special.
Prolly their best moment in my opinion, Heathen was special.
I've been seeing em since '17 and haven't once heard a Heathen song live in probably 15 shows. Guess I just missed that era :(

Different style of metal, but also interesting, drummer is Elliot Hoffman. Has some live footage with carbomb and practice footage on his youtube channel that's pretty dope.
By every hand betrayed is my favorite song they have ever written. Saw them in AZ when they played two seperste shows in one day. The second show they played BEHB in the cold mountains of flaggstaff.. life was complete at that moment
