- it’s that time of the month again, the UK’s biggest monthly meet at bluewater shopping center and it was an absolute banger… the most amount of vans I have seen, what an awesome time, great vans… great guys… great time.

@@YTDTETV yes there is modified Caddy’s here in Australia a few with GTI engine conversions or other mechanical mods or body kits & nice wheels fitted and modified interiors,
But caddy’s a very common here & are great work horses just don’t have a following like that of the UK.

Hi Nathan. Great to see all those Caddy’s. It might be an idea to go into detail to one or two. As to the roof bars, yes black one’s but have you thought of a Retro Roof Rack. That might look good as well I’ve seen a few with them on.

The purple is called Blackberry and the dark grey is called Indium Grey . Good meet I love to see caddys customised mine is going to TMG very soon for a makeover .

you can put pull roof bars only stuck down, Audi RS 4 Estate onely stuck on they fit perfect correct lengnth .

Hi, I am relatively new to the Caddy world but always been a massive fan of them... I have managed to treat myself to a bog standard 2 owner from new 2013 1.6.. Can you recommend some basic but effective modifications that won't break the bank... I will at some stage be changing the engine and box for a bigger lump with 6 speed box for more power.. What engine and box would you recommend that doesnt cause too many headaches technically... Any input would be greatly appreciated . . Thanks

@@YTDTETV okay no worries thanks mate! One other last thing what bonnet catch did you use? Or the outcome with the cable? Mines way too long and the new one didn’t have. Cable to plug into like me old one
@@ItsPrayy bonnet cable I had to buy a new one from TPS in the end as I had the same trouble one to long etc, i just have the reg to a mk3 facelift caddy and got a complete cable. The catch was the one that came with the new front panel.
@@YTDTETV how much of a pain was it to change the cable as I’ve got a whole new cable but it’s one long one not in 2 parts
@@ItsPrayy not to bad at all actually, it’s just a case of taking off the handle from inside the car there’s a plastic clip that slides outwards so the handle comes off then tape the new cable to the old one and pull through.
Arrrr yeah 👌 I'm going to try make next month.. hopefully another busy one.. 3 hour drive for me but it is what it is.. what time does it start?
Hey bud be great if you come, it’s an hour and a half from me and the drive doesn’t bother me.. further from you thow. Come to one and see how you get on, a few people travelled similar miles to you. Starts at 6.30 people start turning up around 6, they stay late to so it’s a good time for a few hours. There is a ccuk Facebook page 👍

That’s so true because I have 2019 connect and to customise it would cost a fortune because the parts are so expensive compared to the caddy’s. To customise a caddy is so easy and cheaper.

My bls on caddy seized up Wednesday . It had new clutch new turbo new oil cooler etc . Thinking to go bls swap for bls . Straight. But then I’m in doubt watching your vids . Bls not reliable;)
@@MrKastytis if they are serviced the can be reliable but I have seen a fair few blown up, popular conversion is the asz engine.
