this song gives off the feeling of "hey, you're near the end of it. good job. just push through." or "you earned this. you deserve this. be proud of yourself."
Hello. I'm from Chile 🇨🇱, and my 18-year-old brother showed me your music, and it has left me fascinated. I am 31 years old and I feel like you would have been my favorite band as a child. Their album "Thunder Lightning, Strike" is already one of my favorite albums! I hope they can come to Chile (and South America) at some point!
Best song on the album by far. This thing exhudes so much confidence. It's one of the most infectious rock songs I've ever heard. Can't wait to see you guys live in May!
The original version of this used an uncleared sample from Quincy Jones' 'Ironside', didn't it? The recreation of the brassy parts is close enough for jazz.
Great video! I'm watching it and thinking "this reminds me of experimental filmmaker Stan Brakhage's stuff", but by the end, I'd almost swear there are actual shots from Dog Star Man and Window Water Baby Moving sampled in there. 🤔
I'm getting "Vehicle" (Ides Of March) vibes, and Rocky vibes as well. I feel like I got beamed back to the 1970s for a visit. It felt good to be back. 😊
idk who edited/ made this video but it’s so much better than the videos made for the latest album. i think the go team is so inspirational and fun with this rawer and analog(?) aesthetic, digital doesn’t really match the go team imo. the go team to me is handcrafted collages and stuff like that. the covers for the first three albums are so gorgeous because they don’t look that digitally altered. semicircle and the scene between have gorgeous covers too tho. you need to take better aesthetic decisions because you definitely still got it
I recognized the shots from 'Thunder' by Takashi Ito and 'Anticipation of the Night' by Stan Brakhage, but it's hard for me to understand which films the rest of the shots are from. Any ideas?
@@brettonjohansen1619 The original 2004 video for this song featured a video of some women dressed as Ms. PacMan and ghosts running around NYC (?). I assume it was removed from the official account because of the uncleared samples (which led to most of the band's album being re-recorded) or even a claim from whoever owned Namco at the time for use of their intellectual property (Pac-Man characters), but other people re-uploaded the video (in low res). e.g. ruclips.net/video/FMtLBXlMZ-s/видео.html

Was lucky enough to see this band at Roundhouse last Sat - great band, great crowd, great night - can't wait to see them again soon
I bought the 2023 thunder lightning strike vinyl recently so this makes me really happy
Same here! It's wonderful to have a tangible piece of TG!T's work.
Happy makes me happy ❤
I wish more artists would make new videos for their older songs.
Welp, i just had a seizure. At least I had a cool soundtrack to go along with it.
Thanks guys!

Well, I might fight you for "Huddle Formation". It freaking slaps live.
Genius. This song always needed a video just like this! Like a 70's sports, leisure & recreation show theme gone hard, inside my mind.
Just what I needed this morning!
Love this ❤. I discovered The Go! Team via Limewire while searching for the theme tune to one of my favourite childhood TV theme tunes 😂. Ah 2000!

Man this album got some serious playtime back in 2010-212 🔥🔥🔥
yep!
Um, they made more LOL.
@@EricWarren Absolutely, I had their single Whammy O on heavy rotation this summer
Fantastic tune, one of my favorites from TLS, and always happy to see more Go! Team content. Still love the Pac-man video though. ;)
Pac-man video all the way!
It’s 2024 and I love how the music video style never changes 👍
I have never loved something like I love The Go! Team
why is that actually so true
This feels like the opening to some 60s or 70s cop show that was popular in the day, but is now forgotten.

I was thinking the same thing!!
It's a shame that Rockstar didn't play this song in GTA 4, it's great
this fills me with so much joy
This is one of my favorite songs, just period.
Ian Parton is an Evil Genius.
Wow! Just Wow! 😮❤😮
Go Team!!!
One of my very favorite GoTeam tracks. Now I want to play some pacman.
This track is 🔥

I like How you used the One Second of the Footage from THX Cimmaron Trailer (1988) for the music video
this video is very similar to takashi ito shorts. for a second i thought someone might have put one of his short films to the song.

This is so cool
GAHHH I WISH I COULD SEE YALL LIVE BUT I'M 15 UGH
Thank you!
The seizures were worth it.
Kickass!
F YEAH, TRUMPETS AND HARMONICA!
See you sooooooooon. x
This the best music ever. I mean it.

Eargasm!
I'm a swiftie for The Go Team
WHAT!?!?!? I've only known this as the song used for the Pac Man video! Thanks for this, what a nice throw back! ⚡💥🐅!
Wait what Pac Man video uses this?

Ms. PacmanじゃないMVだ
これが本家のMVだったのか初めて見た
Great video but some epilepsy warning would be appreciated
The frame rate is low to trigger, I think.

@@confustled Oh, thanks for the information.
Probably best to put a seizure warning but excellent work!
