- The Buffalo Bills came up short at home with a 27-10 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. Josh Allen finished 25-of-42 for 265 passing yards (26 rushing) and an interception. The Bills QB was in MVP discussions throughout the year but have simmered down with Jalen Hurts and Patrick Mahomes' strong seasons. Watch as Nick Wright confirms with Damonza about Allen's case as a non-Top 5 QB, including why he is done with the JA hype.

Do you agree that Josh Allen is overhyped?
You called it Nick... I tried telling Bills fans pre season to temper their enthusiasm. Before Daboll Josh wasn't very good and I thought losing him may hurt him and it did. Of course Bills fans didn't want to hear it... and here we are.
Disagree! Last year in KC he showed that he is the real deal! There are good games and there are bad once! Ask Mahomes in last Superbowl he played in! Were was his magic? Or when Mahomes lost to the Bangels last year, where was mahomes in the 2nd half? Cinci just did a great job on defense, give them credit!
Yes. I said in the week leading up to the first game that the Bengals were better and leading into this game I said the Bills shouldn't be favored by the amount they were favored.
Somehow, yes he was. I thought that’d be hard to do because he’s an awesome player. But the media way overdid it this past off-season. So many of them said Allen and Von Miller were the difference makers for the team. Nobody winced when Hyde got hurt, nobody winced when Miller got hurt. So many people still said they were gonna win because of Allen. And of course so many tried to put Allen over Mahomes. They made a way to overrate him this year. Nick was right all season long about Allen
Yes what people don't realize is josh Allen only tries to find the weak corner and take advantage of him. Like Mike Hughes and the Chiefs from Division round last season. People were so mesmerized by that performance.
What happened to the “Nick is terrified of the bills” comments? Huh? Where’d did all you bills fans go? Seem to be awfully quiet now that Nick was proven right
When the almost universal Super Bowl favorites get absolutely embarrassed in their own stadium in the divisional round by being outplayed and outcoached in every single possible facet, it would be a good a time to shut up, sit down and take your L. Smart Bills fans will do this, that's where they went. The sore losers keep talking on Twitter.
If Kansas City loses next week, they haven’t beat anyone this year. They haven’t beaten Buffalo. They haven’t beaten Cincinnati and the only win they had was against last year‘s number one overall pick and the only reason they even made it that far was because they got gifted the 1 seed because of the Damar situation
@@AlucardMM
They weren’t gifted the number one seed. As we saw this weekend. Damars situation was a win for the bills lol it kept them as the two seed when they were gonna lose that game and be the 3 seed
@@AlucardMM cope with that L bills bro
lol....well i got accused of trolling when in fact, my comments were Bills have no pass rush, only one good DB out of 4 and a QB prone to turnovers. Sure enough, the Bengals annihilated them and I hope its a lesson to be objective about the quality of teams.
He was right about almost everything regarding Josh Allen and bills fans can’t take it as a broncos fan it gets better 😂😂
He was wright
The Cincinnati Bengals are who we thought the Buffalo Bills were
I promise im not a bills hater 😂 but this team and the way it was covered reminded me a lot of the 2020 clippers. Glaring flaws (turnovers , injuries , one dimensional offense) that would probably come back to bite them in the playoffs but they were ignored because of the potential high upside. Feel for the fans tho
I mean that clippers comment is pretty misleading lol. “ Kawhi hasn’t played in a conference finals” … well the clippers did make the WCF just Kawhi tore his ACL so he missed it.
Just focus on the point of what he’s saying.
@@smulaula fair his point is valid but that’s why intentionally phrasing it so it’s misleading is unnecessary. Nick knows sports history so he knew he could phrase it so it sounded like his “round 2 ceiling” was right.
I agree. This was the same episode he ranted about the integrity of sports history for his job. Just needed a third thing for his list lol
Yea I paused for a second when he said that cuz I was like… didn’t they make it past this ceiling already? Bad take
What’s odd is his point is kinda right, he just wanted that extra zing and it ended up making him look worse to me.
Is Daboll the QB whisperer? Josh Allen and Daniel Jones lookin like different QBs now that Daboll went from BUF to NYG.
Not over hyped just when he is on he's on. When he isn't he isn't. Not scared of him in general. Would only be scared of him if we know it's a day he'll be on point. Problem is he is never on anymore. Been good for 2 years now ppl caught on to him nothing but down for him now
The bills miss daboll on the offensive side of the ball...just my opinion
I didn't know the league changed the overtime rules for the Bills? How did it benefit the Bills? That KC game was over. Oh, and KC advocated for that change as well.
Would you rather play the bills in Atlanta or the Bengals at home.
So Mahomes was not bad in the Super Bowl against the Bucs? My bad, I thought he did not reach the endzone.
Tell me you didn’t watch the game and know nothing about football without actually saying it 😂😂
@@tigerscott5929 No kidding lol
@@tigerscott5929 how waa he not bad? Because of 2 good desperation passes?
@@aaronjackson9385 man….you’re even more proof that people swear they know football after only watching highlights and/or looking at the box score 😂😂 y’all are embarrassing bro
Let me ask you a question. Would you say Brady has been bad this season because of O-line problems?
@@tigerscott5929 your post is senseless. Mahomes scored no tds, Brady scored tds. At a reduced level, but he got in the endzone at least. Mahomes got excuses for having no blocking, while Brady was lambasted for being old and washed up. Its amazing that you insult me for box score watching, when I literally referenced plays that happened in the game. Hin throwing a desperation pass and having it bounce off his RBs facemask, doesnt mean he played well. Tyreek Hill allowing a pass to bounce off his facemask, doesnt mean he played well.
It's so hard to go 4-0 for any team but the Chiefs? Maybe the law of averages will come through for the Chiefs.
Go Bengals.
Yup, way overrated. I give him another 5 years of being relevant. He depends too much on his athleticism and doesn’t play the position well enough. He almost lost to Skylar Johnson…
“I don’t need to gloat.” Bro, you’ve been gloating for years and you’ll get to do the same thing next year assuming Von Miller is back and analysts go back to saying he’ll be the reason they can get over the hump
34 combined fumbles and picks💀
He threw the same amount of ints as mahomes. Stop it talk about that
@@ratedg5503 No he didnt actually.
@@ratedg5503 Bruh you dont know football. You cant just look at the stats for yourself. Mahomes had 5 fumbles, and 12 interceptions for the 2022 season. 17 turnovers for the season. Allen has 35 turnovers including 15 interceptions. He leads the lead with Dak Prescott
@@JoshAllenisthenextElway17 Your name is literally Josh Allen is the next Elway. Thats all I need to know😂. And half of the accolades you just wrote a bible about are stupid.
Mahomes has more career touchdowns than Josh Allen.
Mahomes has a higher QBR average at 105.7 to Allens 92.
Mahomes completion rating is higher.
Mahomes has the highest winning percentage of any quarterback.
Mahomes has SEVEN straight division titles compared to Allens three.
Mahomes has nearly 200 touchdowns to Allens 138. BTW if you wondered
Mahomes is a two time league MVP compared to Allen being a runner-up. Whether if he finished top 3 or 5 or whatever, he doesnt have a league MVP.
Mahomes has broken the total offensive yards record last year.
He one of the few QBs to have multiple 5,000 yard seasons. Again Allen doesn’t have that.
He is first in all the individual All-time stats of QBs in both the regular season and postseason.
And most importantly, he has an 11-3 record in the playoffs compared to Allens 5-5. Allen literally has lost as many playoff games as he has won.
Mahomes has held five consecutive AFC championship games at home. In fact, hes never had to play on the road at all in the playoffs ever. Has Allen done that? Hmmm thinking not.
And heres something Allen most certainly hasnt done. HE HASNT EVEN BEEN TO THE SUPER BOWL.
Mahomes has been in contention for the Super Bowl for the last years. He went to three of the last five super bowls and won two of them. He cant stay out of the Super Bowl. Josh Allen had two years where he couldn’t even haul the Buffalo Bums up and over the top.
And last but not least, Patrick Mahomes at age 27, five years in his career, has TWO MVPS, TWO super bowl MVPS, and TWO rings already. Its year five for Allen and his scrappy team whom is about to lose their only good receiver. So guess what buddy, stop hyping up Josh Allen until he wins a Super Bowl. He’s not as good as you so desperately want to him to be. Just stop it you literal clown. But nobody is saying he is not good, just not as good as the hype makes him seem.
@@JoshAllenisthenextElway17 Oh yeah he’s physically more talented. Josh Allen is basically the white version of Dante Culpepper. Physically talented, big and strong, but very wreck-less when he is wreck-less which is often. And the fact is that he does not have a 5,000 yard season. Even if Buffalo are blowing out trash teams. You talk about blowouts like that matters. It does not matter if a win is by 1 point, 3, 6, or 30 points. A win is a win and makes no difference how a team got that win. BTW, if Buffalo is blowing out teams so much, how is it that Josh Allen still doesn’t have a 5,000 yard season yet? All those accolades and accomplishments you mentioned mean nothing ultimately as he has no real accomplishments to show for it all. A ring.
I think Allen is good, but on the tier the media put him on he’s not there yet. He has not passed Cam Newton yet.
Scam newton who choked when it mattered?
@@josephn9251 ummm.. Cam won an MVP and went to a Super Bowl and Allen… hasn’t even made it to a conference championship game yet if I’m not mistaken

nick, the world will remember you as one of the few "experts" who didn't recognize the greatness of the Joker, that's the only thing the world will remember you for, sorry but that's already a fact
As a Bills fan, it's obvious for some reason or another Nick Wright just hates JA and the Bills ... as far as being overhyped most of the MVP talk was laid on thick by the media (classic build-you up and can't wait to tear you down) As far as the game no excuse we got beat ... that happens in the NFL if you didn't know and if you watched the game the Bills have issues on the offensive line as well as still dealing with KEY injuries on defense. Plus Cinci had a chip on their shoulder from the whole canceled game thing and they were ready for this game more than the Bills.
except he's pointed out the bills have an over reliance on JA all season, and especially lately he's mentioned multiple times the Von injury and the Damar injury is hurting them a lot bc their defense is already hurting. now you wanna use that as a cop out? how can you still call him a hater when the exact things he's been saying is what bit them?
@@phantoMpikachu he blames it all on Allen when he's basically the sole bright spot and the coaching and training are the biggest reasons they've failed in the postseason.
@@billygg If u consider fumbles & interceptions a "bright spot", then u are 100% correct!
@@billygg i mean Nick did give mention to the defense being bad, but Allen was not good in this game. you can't say he was anazing and the team let him down like last year. Allen was as much to blame as the defense was for never getting off the ground in this game
@@phantoMpikachu He's been hating on the Bills and Josh Allen since before he lost that bet to Colin Cowherd in 2021 ...

Luck got the quote from Peyton Manning
Nick, you’re not John Wick. That’s a fictional character, but he’s still more real than you. Secondly, when the Bills win the next 3 Super Bowls, ima hire Wick to break in and phone it when ur crying in ur pea soup

If Joe Burrow wins the SB this year will you agree he’s QB1 if not why not?
No... Burrow doesn't play Mahomes just like Mahomes doesn't play Burrow. Especially with Mahomes potentially limited.
Mahomes and the Chiefs win more games and Mahomes stats are a LOT better then Burrows numbers. Mahomes literally just set the NFL Record for offensive yards in a season.
As soon as Burrow wins a couple MVPs, Offensive Player of the Year Award, wins a Superbowl, is Superbowl MVP and then we'll talk.
@@lakeozarkrei3767 i said if he wins the SB this year he will start his career with 2 SB appearances and won one
who dey!
Josh Allen had one of the greatest playoff runs last year of all time they added Von Miller which was their only weakness on defense the hype was justified. Injuries throughout the season prevented the team that was being hyped up to even ever play so to put the expectations of that version of team on this version of the team is stupid
Or… or.. Josh Allen is a turnover machine and the whole roster was overrated the whole season. Just maybe
A 2 game playoff run (1 of them a loss) is one of the greatest? lmao. Allen stans are delusional.
@@taylormalone1050 are we talking about Josh Allen or are we talking about the bills because it seems like you Kansas City fans flip-flop on what matters a quarterback, stats, or quarterback wins? You would be a liar if you say that Josh didn’t play as good as you possibly could in those two games but it’s a team game and the team lost. At least he didn’t choke like Patrick did losing a 21-3 point lead at home to go the SB
My guy making it less than 50% of the way to a championship is not a great super bowl run your team is just starved for playoff achievements
@@AlucardMM
Josh can’t even make a super bowl with a roster everyone in the NFL deemed the best.
Just please take into account he injured his throwing shoulder
His shoulder was fine. Im a bills fan watch every game. Dont blame that. I love josh but his decision making regressed this year.
Maybe Kyrie and harden getting hurt had to do something with that bucks series... Just sayin... When even 2 superstars were available for the nets... They were destroying bucks... But then they lost both harden and Kyrie.

Be for real joe is a career 583 win pct and that includes this years 12-4 .I MEAN WHAT HAS JOE WON in the pros ? HES CAREER UNDER 60% winner ALLEN IS ON 70% exactly
I have an argument for allen over mahomes… uh swap uniforms. Put mahomes on that bills team and allen on the chiefs and allen would have two supee bowls and mahomes would still be losing wild card games. Andy reid succeeds everywhere he goes and mcdermott is a defensive scrub. Kelce is a more dependable target than diggs and the kc wide receivers are better than the bills, toney valdez scantling and juju are better than diggs davis and beasley. The o line and defense dor kc is also better
Chiefs have a better defense then then the Buffalo Bills said nobody ever
Just about everything you said is flagrantly false, I genuinely couldn’t help but laugh 😂😂😂 KC doesn’t have a better defense than Buffalo, KC doesn’t have a better receiving core than Buffalo, Kelce comes off as “more dependent” than Diggs because unlike Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes actually takes what the defense gives him as opposed to always over-relying on the deep ball. Plus, when you started off this comment relying on a hypothetical to make your point, it already became invalid. You just did worse by yourself by making up the rest of the nonsense that your comment consists of.
Wow, Patrick Mahomes with a defense and those weapons he might never lose.
It’s dumb comments like this that gives Nick ammunition 😂😂😂
He said a credible argument. A hypothetical situation that you can't prove one way or another isn't credible.
