Rindy was quoted somewhere as saying "my saxophone is an extension of my voice". I think that's backwards. She uses her voice like she plays her sax. Great!
They had a real good sound. Loved when Rindy played the sax. Does this video scream 80's. Rindy with the leggings, boots and Frizzy hair (she looked great) and Marv with the trench coat and part mullet. A video like this takes me back.

I love Quarterflash. I was born in the 90s, so I didn’t grow up listening to this. But I love the 70s,50s, and 80s and this band is one of my favorites! I will never understand why they weren’t more popular at the time. Many great songs by them, the saxophone is incredible in all. I bet if they play one of their songs on a Stranger Things episode.. they will blow up and get the recognition they deserve

This song got heavy airplay in my area and our DJ loved it. I thought it was a big hit. The musicians in Quarterflash were solid and Rindy Ross is just the best. I think Rindy is a more smooth Pat Benatar and that is not meant as a dig at either but rather Rindy is someone that makes the listener at ease while Pat seems edgy. I will always remember Rindy and Quarterflash as a highlight of my 80's musical years. Sadly, I never saw them live in their peak years but loved their MTV videos.
