"what was i made for" was a song billie wrote and sang for the barbie movie, and it is heart wrenching! she said herself that she felt she'd hit a dead end in her music making, and this song brought her out of it. it was written for the movie, but for herself. the music video is stunning, and theres an interview with her and her brother where she talks more about the meaning. i think you would LOVE it. learning the meaning behind the song gives u so much respect for billie as an artist

Lana is an incredible artist with an amazing diverse catalogue (she's been active over 10 years). I love her voice. My favorite track from her (and my favorite song of all time in general) is "Ride" with its stunning video. But she has so many fantastic songs.

Coachella takes pride in not announcing surprise guests. Billie was the surprise at Lana's headline set. Some noticed them at sound check and other local events and knew something was cooking. Apparently it turned out their collab was a peak Coachella moment.

I know you probably won't do this because you have a certain method for how you pick which thing to react to next. but my recommendation with anyone discovering Billie is to watch all of her music videos in order of when they're released. ❤
Her first video is Ocean Eyes, but I think you should skip it for now, especially since you just heard a live version.
Her next video is bellyache from her first EP Don't Smile At Me. Her next music videos that are really good is Lovely and Hostage.
My recommendation is if you wanna react to any Billie song, if it has a video, PLEASE react with the video, even if you can't show it on screen. Trust me, it's so worth it.

She is a star! 🌟 Lana Del Rey is a queen! 👑 I think that they are both so beautiful and have so much respect and love for one another, it’s such a beautiful thing to see. I think you should go down the rabbit hole of each one. Lana has a lot of deep seeded pain she expresses in her songs. Obviously everyone has there own, but anyone who goes down it can probably explain to you what she is saying as she adds spoken word at the beginning and ends of some of her music. Billie has pain as well that you will hear in music as well , Lana is just a little bit older and has been on her own completely since she was 14.
You should check out Billie’s performance of “No time to Die” at the BRIT awards. It’s amazing, probably one of my favorite songs by her!
