    I am an overweight woman who has tried this lifestyle a few times. What I did notice about rawfoodism or raw veganism is when my kids and i did it for 5 days. Our stomachs shrunk. It was very difficult the first 3 days. Then you just don't get hungry. I wish i would of stayed on it. Olivia is actually eating like she's used to. She may eat more on some days but if you're going to take on this lifestyle. This is how it is going to be unless you prep and add in more expensive stuff. Also supplements help but honestly our bodies are actually made to eat this way. OUR BODIES ARE NOT MEANT for meats and processed foods. She could eat more avocados, nuts, more fruits, more whatever etc. The thing is what she ate that day. She probably just isn't hungry because she's clean inside. Just the way it is.

    I hope you read our comments and consider to include more calories into your diet. In this video, you just ate "water". What about blending your veggies instead of juicing them, maybe eat some dates, bananas or sweet potatoes.

      Verena Rivera Klussmann I do eat dates and bananas. I don't eat sweet potato because I'm a raw vegan and don't enjoy raw sweet potatoes. Juicing is incredible for your health, so I juice and blend 😊 I'm very happy with the way I eat, but thanks for your concern 🙏🏻

    for all who say this is unhealthy or wrong. This is perfectly safe. I also eat a Raw Vegan diet and i also see my doctor regulary and my doctor has suggested certian vitamins and supplements my body needs. But this is the best way to get fresh nutrients and Detox your body.

    I think you need to go and see a doctor very soon. What you ate in a day hardly amount to 800-900 calories. If you slept all day you will burn between 1200-1500. Your metabolism slowed to live on this amount of food, but this is NOT healthy. When you eat raw diet you even need more food to get enough nutrition. What you ate that day indicate an eating disorder. Please don't make more videos like that telling other young girls that this amount of food is healthy for them in a day. There are many young people who are vulnerable out there. You are making more damage than good.

      @@rodeo9 protein in all the leafy greens. You only need about 40g protein a day but yes, a handful of nuts and seeds would have boosted her protein (and fat) intake. I'm sure she eats these.

    Don't get me wrong, I love the simply kind of vegan or raw vegan lifestyle, but this are not enough calories, try to add more dens cuantity food 😊

      haha yeah I love food too much to do that too. But she is really tiny so it's probably what her body is asking for. I've read that the higher the muscle mass a person has, the more fuel they're going to need. Not saying that she doesn't have muscle, she does, just not as much as others since she's so small lol

    Just curious, how can you go from 12:30-4 on just a juice without eating?? I’d love to do this but I worry I would be too hungry to make it that long. Any ingredients you would recommend that keep you full longer? Thanks!!

    After reading the comments, my curiosity got the better of me, so I entered your food into a meal tracker app. You consumed less than 1,200 calories, and only 6% of those were from protein. While there is nothing wrong with the foods you are eating, if this is an accurate representation of what your diet looks like on an average day, then you are seriously undernurishing yourself. As well, there will be young girls (and full grown women) who watch this video and think this is healthy and sustainable. Please consult a vegan friendly nutritionist.

    Why juice your fruits and veggies when you can eat all of that? That is so wasteful when throwing away all the fiber. Which is what keeps you full.

      @C D I know you seen your vegetables only gives you the fructose. Which is the sugar. Most vegetables contain their nutrients in the flesh. The skin. You're not getting all your nutrients straight when you're juicing them. I never understood where this idea came from. The human body needs fiber. Fiber is important for the digestive system. I understand that you can be so skinny that your digestive system was shut down as a woman you could lose your menstrual cycle. Your hair can start falling out. And other physical health issues can happen. Not to exclude mental and emotional.

      @C D juicing is when you extract the liquid out of a fruit or a vegetable. That liquid has sugar in it. Fructose. This whole word of detoxing basically just mean you're flushing water from your system. And if you have any stool backed up that's coming out too. But that's what detoxing is Flushing water from your system. However, juicing contains high amounts of fructose. You can go to any store and look at the back of the nutritional label. Because their fruits and vegetables. Fruits contain fructose. So do some vegetables. Like carrots are very sweet. This I know because I work with type 1 and type 2 diabetics. Why do you think they tell diabetics to stay away from fruit when they are first diagnosed.

      @C D and thank you for studying nutrition. Which means you're taking time out of your life to go to school to get a degree to understand the science behind the food we eat. It's people like you that one day might find a cure for type 1 or type 2 diabetes. This juice and detox thing is a fat always have been always will be. When you juice you're just losing water weight. That's all that is and you're taking in tons of sugar. So thank you stay the course. Keep your head in those books in one day you might go down in the history

    I seldom do a thumbs down. But if you are going to “suggest” what to eat in a day....
    You might consider doing an analysis of your calorie needs versus your suggested calories.
    You are NOT getting enough calories nor anything satiating until dinner with the 1/2 avocado.
    Might I suggest the Starch Solution my Dr. McDougall or How Not to Die by Dr Gregor or a nutritarian diet by Furhman.
    For anyone watching the video...this is how you become anorexic.

      siobhan costello I got a suggestion for you how about you don’t come on here telling her that she is not getting enough nutrients she is eating the way her body wants to eat and further more you people getting on my nerves talking about people being skinny how about some people like it everyone don’t have to be big in fact most people who are thick or fat are inflamed because of food they eat...eating the pigs 🐖 butt all there life and think they look good because they are big I don’t care if they do exercise and have nice body you got body builders who are unhealthy they are freakin inflamed... there is a time in life where people need to detox their body from all this unhealthy food in their bodies and not worry if they lose weight it’s about health right now... She don’t have to look good for you... she don’t need your suggestion do what’s good for your body

      Nowadays everyone’s organs are having such a hard time because were being bombarded with chemicals from the air & environment, pesticides & more. Cilantro is a really unique food because it can get metals out of your body (which lots of us have accumulated)

    These vegan raw eaters are sooo obsessed with detoxification, she looks too skinny in my opinion and judging by what she eat it's too little calories in it. Those calories maybe enough if you just spend all of your day in your house doing nothing

    If you think it's diffcult to drink your cellery juice add something that you like to make the taste better. Dates, apples, mango, bananas, orange or something. Just a tip :) Btw make sure to eat some nuts or nut butters with all these veggies or you do only absorb a little of the nutrients. Dr Joel Furhman claims that studies shows that if you don't eat any fat to your smoothies or meals with vegetables, especially cruciferious vegetables only 10% of the cancer fighting phytochemicals gets absorbed! Dr Greger seems to say that nuts are very much recommended as well.

      Thanks for your tips :) the main benefits of celery juice come from drinking it on its own though, which is why I try do to that. I don't consume nuts or nut butters generally because they don't make me feel my best. I always have avocados in my salads with green veggies though.

      Alright :) Good that you have avocados! just 28 grams of nuts has protective effects on reducing the risk of pancreatic cancer as well as breast cancer and some other cancers so it's good to get thoose unique nut phytonutrients in and you don't need to eat a lot, but it's your choice.

    Holy crap I came on here Bc I searched “what vegans eat in a day” to get inspired Bc I’m vegan n I need more ideas but instead I’m looking at an mirrored image of myself 2 years ago when I had Ana. This girl has a ED and is calorie restricting!! Saying “I’m vegan that’s y I’m thin” is not a excuse! I eat healthy n I’m not a stick n there’s many healthy ppl with abs that eat loads, look at Freelee she eats loads n has a slimed but heathy shape. Girl take a course.. Jesus

      redhatgnome there are so many factors relating to caloric needs including the emotional, mental, physical and spiritual levels of a person. I believe everyone is unique and there need for a certain amount of calories differs 😊

      No, i think, with raw food, you can eat as much, as you like.
      As i was very young, i was a rawfoodist my self, and ate a lot of calories (sometimes 500g nuts a day, or 500 g dates (in addition to the fruits and greens) and i was very, very slim (like Olivia).
      All the rawfoodists i knew in that time ate tons of fruits, nuts, dates etc., it means tons of calories and were more than slim.
      Now i eat sometimes a little bit cooked food or sweets etc. Well, not so clean, as before, but i'm not overweight =).
      I think, i'm slim, but not very slim, since 25 years exactly the same shape. (i think 176 cm and 65 kg, probably it is my balanced weight).
      Wenn i eat very few calories because i don't have a lot of time to eat for a few days, my body will demand a compensation very soon afterwords in form of overeating. I think, it ist a normal reaction.
      I think, my metabolism istn't special ... but the rawfood works different in the body than traditional food;

      Olivia Budgen you do realise liver is there for something? It metabolizes all your so called "toxins" within 48 hours
      Fyi eat salt . Iodine deficiency can lead to goiter and not enough production of importance enzymes and hormones
      I have masters in pharmaceutical science and let me tell you this is far from healthy
      You are not including enough carbohydrates
      What you are including most is fiber which only helps in better bowel movement it has no nutritional value

      Olivia Budgen You can also run a couple miles to help get rid of the toxins, I never took my wisdom teeth out but I took an anti inflammatory medicine and it worked and I canceled the visit to take out my four impacted wisdom teeth and just took the remaining pain until it went away

      Brooke Barks well you need to a lot more research sweetie because I follow a lot of people who do one meal a day and they are huge because they exercise you don’t have to eat a lot of food...I’m a vegan and I don’t go telling other vegans that they lack nutrients etc because they decide to eat a certain way... I follow vegans who all think different and provide different info.... just because you are vegan don’t mean nothing...it doesn’t mean that you have all the right info you need to search all the different kinds of vegans out there because not all are doing the same things...

      Jacobie Bell My brother studied nutrition for six years. Yes people do one meal a day diet plans but those meals don’t just consist of two vegetables lol. It’s not healthy. Also do your research before commenting.. Exercise is only 20% of what it takes to gain. It doesn’t play that big of a role

    I think you should eat more greens during the papaya and add more dressing for iodine and saturated fats and you must take a b12 supplement, tahini dressing, olives, steamed veggies, eggplant, walnut sauce , kelp salt, seewead, you are also not getting omega 3 add chia seeds to your morning drink or hemp seeds, if you like maybe take a green powder or supplement , and some oats in a smoothie... just so you are getting enough I’m sorry I hope that helps, I know it’s expensive to eat this way...

    A perfect diet for rich white millennials who don't have a real job so they chop fruits and veggies all day long , juicing, making smoothies, salads and whatever!
    Jesus! This girl only had like 500 calories in this video, that's insane! Nothing wrong with the raw vegan diet but watch other people that are strong and healthy because they actually eat ( just the norm 1,800- 2,000 calories/ day).
    Again, if you don't have anything to do all day, then a few juices and a few lettuce leaves would be plenty for your energy! Some people have more physical jobs so this example would be pure ridiculous!

    Looks good to me. Don’t believe the protein myth, we don’t need that much. But yes...more nuts and seeds would be beneficial, but make sure to get them raw and soak them first. The fruit is where the majority of the calories come from, and it looks like you are getting enough based on your size. The people in the comments just don’t know any better

      Harmoni McFarland thanks for your concern 😊 I take an iodine supplement every day. Healthy fats = avocado and Protein = fruits and veggies. I don't count calories. I simply eat until my body feels full.

      Yes veggies and fruit have protein, if you eat enough of them. Also iodine is found in kelp or nori. Normally of someone eats enough calories, they should get all that they need. Good idea to get the blood work done each day to be sure.

    You might want to check your protein intake in cronometer or another app. It looks like you got in maybe 15g of protein. Even for smaller women it's recommended to get in at least 40g.

    i'm a vegan (for over 15 years) who eats a raw diet, and I have to say this is one of the worst channels i've ever come across. You look sickly thin, and you will not last long eating this way. Get Help! I will expect a 'why I am no longer vegan' video very soon!

      karin collado I am deficient in zinc, which I’m working on. I am overcoming health issues including EBV, strep and heavy metal toxicity. I am always nice and full and I have put on weight since this video and it’s a healthy weight 😊

    it's funny I knew it would eventually come to this that we would have to give up food basically, and live on lettuce and fruit. And also there will be some not eating and drinking involved as dry fasting is sometimes require to get the kidney's filtering and if we're lucky we can have some water.

      Well it depends how you look at it ;) I believe the only true foods are fruit and leafy greens. So I see it as giving up the traditional fake "food" and going back to what we were naturally designed to eat.

    Not here to attack or anything. I just want to simply state; juicing is not that good for you. It strips away all the nutrition. It's basically just the sugars left. I recommend just blending them to keep all the nutrition!

    You seem not to eat much. How come you don't eat denser fruits such as bananas and mangoes and a little bit of soaked seeds or nuts to increase your caloric and amino acid intake? For me I want to gain weight on raw.

    I wonder where she gets her essential omega 3 fatty acids? Avocados have some but not enough, they are mostly omega 6s. Some many ex vegans started to eat fish again because they became low in omegas 3. She eats less food then any other fruitarian I’ve seen.

    Awesome video, I've been vegan/gluten free over the past 8-10 weeks, grrr, I stopped counting (I don't miss meat), I might give raw vegan diet ago at some point, if and when I'm ready. Just a Quick question, with regards to eating in general, I'm fairly good on weekdays but I tend to eat much more on weekends, albeit small portions, What tips can you give me to stop me thinking about food whilst I'm at home?

      Diet Coke so amazing you've been vegan for 10 weeks! Keep on this amazing path 😍 mmm I know it can be tricky definitely whilst transitioning to a healthier diet. My biggest tip would be to keep yourself busy doing things you're passionate about, and also, make sure you're eating large meals so you're full and don't want to snack. My binge eating video may help you (I know you don't binge, but the tips may help).

    whats amazing about celery on the digestion is the fiber...when you juice it you loose all that. juicing stuff all the time is just not good for you. it's just like drinking soda. cooked celery is better for you than raw celery. i'm going raw myself, but i am so tired of people juicing, especially when they juice celery. it's just not good for us on a regular basis. juicing some times is just fine but not daily. make a green smoothy instead to get all those calories and make it easier to consume. i imagine you are not a very active person, but that is really low, super low calorie.

    I have no idea why you're getting so much hate! You eat super healthy and you seem like the sweetest person. The only thing I can say is to have a bit more protein, but thats hard to find as a raw vegan. So much stuff like tempeh and tofu is overly processed! But keep doing what makes you happy girl, you seem perfectly healthy to me.

    Yeh this girl looks more thin than the average person but the reason people view this negatively is because people generally have been programmed to see health/looks a certain way, since we were young by the TV's and mis informed family members. After all any fat on the body is accumulated cell jackets coating a toxin which means this girl has less toxins (jackets then the average person) and is more optimal and healthier then most people in this thread. Her skin is glowing and her eyes and teeth a super white. You guys need to stop watching the TV like a bunch of sheep and research real health. This girl will never die of cancer or desease her body is optimal. Yeh she's thin but no sign of illness or or danger. She will live long then all of you xx

      protein in animal meat is just a by-product from the plants they eat.
      It's not really possible to become protein deficit unless you are seriously malnourished.
      if you are getting enough calories from fruits, veggies seeds etc then you are getting plenty of protein
