As you all know, its football season. When football season arrives, so does fantasy football. Don't allow your fantasy football league to be mediocre. If there is money on the line, hold everyone accountable and become the commissioner! In this video, I give you the top 5 tips on how to be a great commissioner for your league and get the most participation from the players in the league. Can you choose ONE defensive player to your offensive league? And how would I score it points wise? I really wanna add 1 defensive player on top of a defensive team & then the basics after that. 2 rbs, 2 wrs, 1 te, 1 kicker ect...
You can if you set it up that way. I personally don’t have experience as a commish with defensive players. I personally can’t stand it lol. But to each is own. You could go with their default scoring

Do you know how I should change the waiver wire this week since there are games today (Tuesday).....im the commish...and I know I should change it but to what?
The options are none..or continous...the other options are abvousley not the answer..Sunday-tuesday and first game of the week- Tuesday.....game time- Tuesday..
Personally, I would keep as is. Its only two games and since we are in playoffs everyone should be paying attention anyways lol

Thanks bro! I’ll be honest, I never used that app. I was just checking up on it right now. Looks solid. You can never have too much information. Use the info the app provides to make decisions but don’t let the app make decisions for you haha

How many players do you keep year to year for dynasty football? I’m commish in year 2 for this league
I don't do dynasty leagues. Makes the every year drafting more intense and more even. But I have heard people usually doing 1-2 keepers. 1 might be ideal in my mind if that is the route yall go

What would be the tie breaker between 3 teams that finish 8-7 be?
Points scored is the easiest way to break tie

I would say 4 team make it. You can do 6 but there is not that much pressure on all teams! Good luck this season

Hey Jordan, nice! With 10 people you can do top 6 make it to playoffs we’re top 2 seeds get first round byes. Or you can do top 8 make it. You got some good options. Top 6 might be best though but it all depends on how many team you want in the playoffs
How do you run your playoffs for a 12 team league, also what do you use a budget for waivers?
Top 6 teams make the playoffs starting week 15. Top 2 seeds get a bye week. You want the championship game to run on week 17. Never run your championship game during the last week (week 18) because teams will be benching guys depending on their playoff status. Or you can get top 8 teams and start playoffs week 14 no bye weeks.
As for waivers, I don’t do budget. I do waiver priority

@@praneelsingh8024 I believe these are automatic set depending on the number of teams like 6 or 10 teams in the playoffs should automatically apply the bye week
How do I cancel peoples trades as commissioner
You are not able to flat out cancel trade. depending on how the league is set up, it is likely commish veto or league veto. If it is league veto, majority of owners will need to veto the trade. If commish veto, then commish can easily veto any unfair trade. Unfair being the key word lol
How to make yo league a money league? Is it in settings?
Have the commish handle that on the side with Venmo. Dont use these built-in systems. They charge a fee for that mess lol

Four mins into the video. Great content already man. First year being Commish. Now decided to have 12 man league. I've had requests for No Def and kickers. Any advice? I know its my decision and I don't wanna be a Yes Man commissioner.
For me, I would say “hell no!” Lol. You need team defense and a kicker or else it’s not “real fantasy football” IMO haha. Good luck this season!

How do you remove a member from the league
Not sure of the platform you are using but you should be able to in the commish settings. If you google it for the platform you are using you should be able to find some instructions

How does your payouts work?
So I usually use Venmo to collect and distribute. Venmo is free to use and easy to use. If you are doing weekly payouts for the weekly high score, you can simply send via Venmo. The key is to make sure everyone pays before the draft order is set. In my league, if you do not send that venmo entry fee before my deadline you are out. I don't have time to chase people for money after the season or when their team is eliminated.
My friends made a trade marquis brown for Alvin kamara and aj brown and I vetoed it and he said if both teams say yes then you can’t veto it because they think it’s fair, thoughts?

@@ChuckItUp they all said to veto and this happened last year. He would team and I would veto and he would say get a new comish. But this is a different leauge and we got a new comish for the one from last year and he didn’t join cuz he said the new comish was trash even tho last year he wanted him
I have an 12 manager league and 11 managers. I've been running Yahoo Fantasy Football as a commissioner for 8 years now.
I have 1 open slot and send me friend the invite to join and he keeps getting an error message and can't join.
I never had this issue before, could you advise me on what to do so I can finalize my league?
I would reach out to yahoo to see what gives. But I would double check you are inviting the correct email address and I would have your friend confirm they are trying to join with the correct email address account. Good luck this season!
