    It's stupid Bandai didn't make the Zaku Origin in an MG. That's what the entire anime was focused on.

  • @mitchelin02
    @mitchelin02 5 лет назад +401

    Fun Fact: Unlike the original RX-78-2, this version of the Gundam (RX-78-02) was able to completely *decapitate* Char’s Zaku II in a mountain fight.

      what's the difference of this RX 78-2 vs the OG? As far as I know, this is the same gundam just with minor mods. Design-wise and story-wise.

    • @mitchelin02
      @mitchelin02 5 лет назад +42

      IJustDraw While both Gundams start out similarly, the RX-78-02 proves superior due to less friction from magnetic coating and more thrusters added for space combat in the end. It does start with no core fighter at all, though. Gatling guns are permanently built in as well.

    In case you're window shopping for which MG to get, the 2.0 is the most anime accurate, also comes with a bunch of stuff and the articulation doesn't suffer from its age, it's a great kit.

    When the _Origins_ version of this mobile suit is actually MG RX-78-02 Gundam; with a 0 before the 2.

    The hands on the RX-78 have always looked oversized, even in later animated and/or drawn appearances like the promotional image for GundamxHelloKitty. i love the rx 78 02 design but not the childish red blue and yellow colors.. it makes it look more like a toy than a menacing giant mech..

    Can you also build the Ichiban kuji set B. So you can swap clear parts and non clear parts from set A. To build a Origin RX 78 in white and other in clear.

    confused :( whos the king of master grade RX-78 Gundam? origin = old school approach, 3.0 = modern approach. 3:26. more like a multiverse versions....

    Bandai could make the early variations in mg as the frame is there but they seem to focus on hg sales. Even char origin zaku in mg with his big gun would had been a great kit.

    IMHO the 2.0 is miles better than the 3.0. my 3.0 went floppy so fast, while the 2.0 is solid as a rock. As for anime looks, the 2.0 is the best kinda like the Zaku II 2.0.
    Accessories wise, the 2.0 has everything, from the hammer, javalin, and the naplam launcher.
