안녕하세요 Jmh Walker 입니다. 오늘은 서울 관악구 신림동 신원동을 걸어봤습니다. 이곳 신원동은 관악구의 서남쪽 신림동 지역의 중심에 위치하고 있으며, 역세권인 신림사거리와 접하고 있습니다. 원래 불량주택 밀집 지역이었던 신림동 1635, 1636번지 일대의 도림천변은 1963년 9월에 용산해방촌 철거민 239가구가 이주했던 곳으로, 입주자들은 새로운 삶을 개척해 나가고자 하는 의지를 담아 이곳을 '승리촌'이라고 불렀습니다. 1988년 4월 9일에 불량주택 재개발구역으로 지정되고, 1990년부터 공사를 시작하여 1994년 9월 30일에 신림동부아파트가 준공되었습니다. 신원동과 미성동을 연결하는 길이 360m의 쌍굴터널인 문성터널이 1992년 7월 20일에 준공되어 교통 소통에 큰 도움을 주고 있습니다.

Hello, this is Jmh Walker. Today, I walked around Sinwon-dong, Sillim-dong, Gwanak-gu, Seoul. Shinwon-dong is located in the center of Sillim-dong area, southwest of Gwanak-gu, and is adjacent to Sillim Intersection, close to the subway station. The Dorimcheon Riverside around 1635 and 1636 Sillim-dong, which was originally an area with a high concentration of substandard housing, is where 239 families of Yongsan Haebangchon evictees moved to in September 1963. The residents called this place ‘Seungri Village’ with their will to pioneer a new life. It was called. It was designated as a substandard housing redevelopment area on April 9, 1988, construction began in 1990, and Sillim Dongbu Apartments were completed on September 30, 1994. The Munseong Tunnel, a 360m long twin tunnel connecting Shinwon-dong and Miseong-dong, was completed on July 20, 1992 and has greatly helped with traffic flow.
