Its a refractometer.. Ment for testing the brix, that you can convert to an abv potential of wort during the boil. They're not particularly accurate after a its brewed and carbed. And the cheaper ones tend to be a little inaccurate even when used at appropriate time. Would really stick to a hydrometer for after the fermentation

The Muntons is coming tomorrow, going straight into the bucket. Ive learnt if your hands go up, i order! Edit: I fucked up and didn't order the 2nd can, I ordered 500g of muntons spray malt, so it was a 50/50 mix of spray malt light and sugar.. fingers crossed it's still a good brew, I had* high hopes for this

Looking at the malt I think you need to use the 1.5kg malt to get to the 6.2ABV not the 1.2kg 🤔 I’ve order this today comes tomorrow in the bucket Saturday 🤦♂️🤣🤣🤣👍

I’ve not had the inclination to brew a kit for a while but the Muntons and mangrove jacks kits has definitely got my attention. Thanks guys cheers 👍🍻
