Fantastic evening, and a song they don't perform that often.

I was at this gig and it was one of the most terrifying I've ever been to. It doesn't come across in the recording, but the sheer *volume* and physical *presence* of the sound was like nothing I've experienced before or since. I really thought I wasn't getting out of there without some kind of damage.

Little did I know at the time that after countless number of Killing Joke gigs I have been to, that this one would have been my personal last. Geordie's loss still cuts deep. 😪

Kudos to Youth for managing to keep a straight face during this performance - as he fleeced the support act of a grand per GIG during the tour 💰 💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰
And no, the other three didn’t get a penny.

How did he manage that ?
I assume Youth has royalties coming in from various projects!!
I cant see Geordie, Paul & Jaz not receiving anything from touring .

I love KJ but honestly this is the sleepiest performance imaginable of such a powerhouse of a song. Youth just doesn't have the stage presence of Raven.

KJ just aren't suited to the acoustics of RAH..... No reflection on their performance as so many bands aren't so I've long since packed up going there...... Didn't go to this gig but know plenty that did and apart from the closer front rows, it sounded splashy and shit.... Brixton Academy everytime for me..

Cool story, except for one thing. This gig wasn't at the RAH. It was at the Albert Hall in Manchester.

@@mhagain Ahha Good point! :-) Strikes me then that peeps have mentioned they sounded equally as good in Manchester as well as London RAH then

Terrible sound mix as expected with KJ. Zero balls.
