to create point form in some of my work i use a dash, e.g "- Table 1" . However excel is now adding an equal sign in font of the dash and it is really messing with my work. and causing #NAME error I think i accidentally pressed a button that made this change. Can you help me to stop this?
Right click, select "format cells", and choose the "Text" category. You may have to type it again but when you do Excel will not insert the equal sign.
What else can I help you with in Excel?
