Hey this is random but I watched Chilly Scenes of Winter because you recommended it on one of your Criterion videos. This movie was fantastic and relatable af to me so thank you.
The 'blu-ray curse' exists in part because retailers often heavily discount titles when a 4K is about to come out. The low price catches our attention and we buy what we see as a 'great deal' on an existing blu-ray soon to be disappointed when a new 4K release is announced.
When Evil Lurks $36.58 🇨🇦 😢 this was one of my favourite movies last year that dropped on Shudder. Getting into Giallo years ago has taught me to love expanding my film knowledge by watching foreign film in subtitles. I love it now. Knowing most people are still ignorant to the idea I feel like I’m on a island made up of awesome people getting a extra experience in film that the mainstream audience would never LURK! 🤘 I love these kind of videos idk 😂 I just love film so much. Your middle shelf is empty 😢 I really like ARROW releases of movies idk why it’s my fav maybe cuz it’s the first experience I had with these other company’s re releasing film. Question… scream factory-shout factory…. Are they not the same? What makes them different? Sorry long comment.

I like the look of the MVD releases too, I'm thinking about getting their MVD Rewind Release for Double Dragon. Yes, it's a pretty crappy movie, but I have a lot of nostalgia for the movie from when I was a kid watching it over at my dad's apartment on the weekends. Also, couldn't agree with you more on The Iron Claw, it definitely had me crying.
ALIENS 4K Is My Opinion the best Upgrade out of ABYSS, & TRUE LIES... The picture was awesome. The Atmos was just ok... But a definite must-have for me...

I think stopping the roundtables was the biggest mistake. He’s better interacting with the community than just being on his own. That goes for 99% of these type of RUclipsrs.
I'm a sucker for steelbooks but I already have the original blu-ray release of Amélie and all indications are they didn't do a new master for this release, it's the same one. That makes it a hard sell to buy just for a steelbook.

I loved it as a kid, watched original trilogy hundreds of times, no lie. Books are incredible I read them still. Other than Andor, I'm not a fan of anything new. It's a shame.

The “Andor” Star Wars show was good. I also enjoyed “Ahsoka” was decent too. “The Book of Boba Fett” wasn’t good, but I enjoyed the episodes with Grogu and the Mandalorian. The Obi-Wan show was only one I didn’t really like. Other than seeing Hayden Christiansen reprise the role of Annakin. Though, they also did that for an episode in “Ahsoka.” I do agree that “The Rise of Skywalker” was a mess. However, I’m one of the ones that enjoyed “The Last Jedi”. That was the one film in the new trilogy where the director took chances. Some didn’t work and some did. I really enjoyed the throne room fight scene. I didn’t love the force projected Luke stand-off with Kylo Ren. I would have preferred it to be a direct physical stand-off. I would honestly pick up the physical copy of “Andor” on 4K if Disney hadn’t priced ten episodes ridiculously high at $64.99 even if it’s a steelbook. I’ll have to wait on a major price drop.

The only thing I picked up this weekend was Wednesday season 1 on DVD, Walmart never Carry's the Blu ray. So far it's a pretty good show.
I really hope we get a 4K release of The Iron Claw it will be amazing on 4K

I think when you find Blu-rays super cheap that usually means a 4k is on the way. If not the bluray won't be super cheap
