- whi.ch/Honda-Jazz-video?... The old Honda Jazz was a firm favourite among Which? readers, thanks to its class-leading reliability and a flexible interior layout. This model, launched 2008, has grown slightly so it's even more spacious, but prices have crept up accordingly. It's five-door only.
Entry-level 1.2-litre models come without electronic stability control, and their 88bhp output feels a little underpowered, too. The 1.4 has stability control as standard (Honda calls it Vehicle Stability Assist) and is only marginally more fuel-thirsty; it's worth paying extra for.

I dont get the obsession with everyone saying lack of power, I'm not a racing driver and I can only go the speed limit. Its a decent reliable practical car. What it was built for.
Courtesy of car oriented tv programs like Top Gear, which is all about show offs. I have friends who are die hard german cars fans. All they talk about are 0-60, cornering, handling, top end speed, launch control, blah blah blah, as if they’re always in a race track (they’ve never driven in a racetrack by the way). It’s good if they’re well off as they can afford to waste money but they’re just average bugers like me and they’re burning lots of money on repairs and maintenance of german cars.
In terms of practicality it wins hands down, the magic seats does folds down and I actually could sleep on it, I think it even can compare to cars like golf boot size.reliability is top notch as well as depreciation. Only thing to complain is the cabin refinement and ride quality. Like all Japanese small car you get blown away on motorway and you get lots of wind and road noise. A polo or fiesta do better on that!
Also the massive blind spot near the side mirror. It’s scary at a roundabout- you have to crane your neck around to spot cyclists. And the acceleration is so bad!
Honda front fog lights always seem an after thought
Yes the Ford Fiesta I have one, its great not without fault I find the handling isn't as good as my old Focus, a bit of body roll.
However I can see why its the UK's biggest selling car.
Hondas are generally good cars, but styling wise they always seem to date quickly.
The Honda lasts a hell of allot longer than a focus or fiesta because Ford reliability is rubbish
@@dalesmith4985 I have owned five Fords a Ford Fairmont in Australia, here in France a MK1 Focus, then two Fiesta's, one I have kept with another Focus, not one factory recall or serious problem, now there ya go? lol

My neighbors mom bought her 2009 Honda Fit with the automatic and 1.5L engine and gets 39 mpg no matter how she drives it!
Now why did they go change a perfect looking car for the Western market for? Looks so much better than USDM Fit.

The Jazz is old, if the new Accord is any indication the new one will again be far better than any blue oval sub-reliable
