Awesome,,,, Sun Moon Lake is very perfect for cycling. I went there last February, visiting Sun Moon Lake for a day trip. Taichung is also an amazing city famous for its local cuisine and beautiful temples. I also uploaded some of my videos about my travel to Taiwan on my channel.

The temples were conveniently at the top of every tough uphill, so it really was a rewarding ride the whole way around. One of my favorite things we did in Taiwan, for sure. Thanks for watching!

Wenwu Temple looks absolutely stunning from every point of view!! Best way to end this long bike ride, you both also seemed to be very tired at the end, should have been such an effort!

Is Cien Pagoda reachable through biking as well?
It is reachable by car, or by very steep steps from the lake!
I did this loop ride in March 2023 and it was amazing. Top 10 on the bucket list of rides for sure.
