    Thank you for this, I can't believe how horrible this design is from a repairability perspective and how dangerous it is to have everything submersible... But what do I know, I'm just looking for a DIY water pump project and this looked like a horrible design to me 😅

    Thank you for this teardown video. I was always curious to know whats the inside mechanism. Do you know the principle by which it works ?

      In my own opinion, since the pump uses ac current and ac current has 2 half waves that flows in opposite direction, when the first half wave enters to the first transformer winding, it changes the polarity of the rotor magnet and causes the rotor to spin by 180 degrees. And second AC current half wave enters to second transformer winding, again it changes the polatity of the rotor magnet and spins for another 180 degrees, and it repeats while the pump is still plugged in. I hope i explained it very well, i did my best😂

      @@ronron322 were both the transformers connected in series with the power? or only one transformer connected to the power?

    • @ronron322
      @ronron322  3 года назад

      @@danalex2991 There are 2 AC wires, each one is connected to the transformers then both ends of the transformer are connected together.

      @@ronron322 thank you. It was a bad idea then for me to have epoxyed it to the magnet-might explain why now, it spins fine, but I have to move it up and down in water to get it to prime. Once I get it running, it stays running, but if I set it on a timer, it won't start pumping by itself.

    hi.. i have a waterpump that is similar to urs just that mine is of different name. While i was cleaning it up, i drop it but luckily i manage to pull the cable. However i noticed it made a tear into the black coat exposing the inner lines tho they are not damage. Is it okay if i have to fix it with just shrinkable heat cable/coating? will the water still enter into the wires.. i am afraid of electric shock

    • @ronron322

      Cover it with epoxy that is water resistant. After the epoxy hardened, cover it again with vulcaseal. Wait for atleast 48 hours before using it to be safe.

    Boss make a vid -how repair a3000 sub pump not working

    • @ronron322
      @ronron322  4 года назад

      Pag nasunog na po ang transformer coils ng pump, hindi na po ma repair yan, kailangan nyo na po bumili ng bago. Kadalasan kasi sa ika sisira ng pump ay yung pagka sunog ng transformer coils, tulad sa pump na ito, lalo na kung nababasa sa ulan yung plug ng pump, ma short circuit po yan at masunog ang coils sa loob. Ingatan lang po palagi ang plug ng pump na hindi maulanan para hindi masira ang coils sa loob.

    Is it repairable if the rpm slows down by alot?

    • @ronron322
      @ronron322  3 года назад

      No. It is very dangerous if you attempt to repair it. But you can replace the rotor if is deformed. Deformed rotor can also cause the rpm to slow down. You can purchase it online.

    • @ronron322
      @ronron322  2 года назад

      Try nyo muna linisin yung loob ng pump. Pag hindi pa rin gumana, siguro sunog na rin ang coil sa loob at hindi maaring ayusin. Pag nabasa ang sa ulan ang plug ng pump, yan ang kadalasan na dahilan para masunog ang winding ng pump.
