I genuinely started my 100% playthrough of GT4 with the City, it's actually great fun

I used it for the FF challenge and plan to use it for the compact car competition. It is super fun.

Yep, amazing how much freedom we had in these old games, and how little they’ve given in GT7 is embarrassing. It’s the most linear crap game I’ve played, incredibly disappointing.
Actually the only gt who didnt force you to use one car per event is GT2 literally you can use one car to finish the game GT4 force you to use specific car in certain events

@@JaK_nzeven Coco Hayashi ever used Honda City to beat half of the all events in GRAN TURISMO 4.
The line "And not just turbo, but turbo II, the sequel" made me laugh way too hard.
Great video! Indeed, the City Turbo is a very fast car, especially considering it only costs just over 4,000 Cr to buy.
Please consider making more of these, as it was a lot of fun to watch!
I loved making this video so I am really happy you want to see more.. I am currently continuing the adventure with the WRX (And some other cars). Hopefully I will have that video up in the near future.

I'm actually surprised to see a turbo honda city was a thing. Sad they didn't carry those same balls into the 90's and give some integras and civics vtec + turbo options

Imagine being the fastest racer with a fast and expensive car, only to be defeated by a sleeper 😂.
I was surprisingly invested in this little car winning it all, so you earned an easy subscriber.

Going back through the early game in GT2-4 and it's been a blast. There's a lot you can do and they were amazing for their time. The graphics aged really well compared to some games from the same time. Great video, thanks!

Nah that one is on me sorry. Accidently used some music with a copyright but youtube has a feature where it can try remove the song for you while keeping the voice part.. It's not perfect so the sound is a bit off for 2 minutes

I did this in GT6 with a Fiat 500. Colossal waste of credits. It was still slow af and i had to clip corners to win races

always do an oil change as soon as you buy a car even brand new as it gives extra HP.
Just so you know, in pcsx2 you can crop those green lines, go to game settings, graphics, and then do 1 pixel crop on the right and down

Do you know how to make the split times appear? The old solution doesn't appear in the modern version of pcsx2, think it's clamping mode.

Yeah I am currently using my wifes old singing mic and I have to fiddle with the cable for 10 mins every session just so it doesn't come through as static. Comments like this really drive home how I need to invest in something better. Thank you for the feedback.

Really great video, one small suggestion is to turn down the background music a bit, as it distracts from the content a bit at its current volume

I went back and tried playing gt5 on the ps3 and those old controllers make it impossible without pain. Sadly one of the ps3 games that wonr work with ps4/5 controllers.

Here's a cool tip for special races to make them even easier even on bad cars, tyre wear is completely disabled, meaning you can actually use qualifying tyres without ANY downside, giving you insane grip, especially on the wet race! With this, you can beat even the hard special races with absolutely trash cars!
This is great. I'm currently struggling on a tsukuba hard race and changing tires should hopefully give me the edge I need. Thanks!

@@JaK_nz I literally just started playing gt4 again on ps2, last time I played it was probably 10 years ago, it's hard at the beginning because you have no money for upgrades but easy once you beat the Capri rally lmao
@@basedaf5580 yeah the money struggle at the beginning was a bit of a shock, but once you win that Capri rally money really becomes a non issue.
