Talk about bringing back memories. My granddaddy use to take me and my siblings fishing during our vacation visit with him down at Whiteville, NC. He knew all the good fishing holes and we used to have so much fun. We used bamboo poles and regular old worms that he kept in buckets out in the shed. This was 60 years ago but I remember it like it was yesterday.

@auralsonicwaves7170 That is awesome. I have fond memories fishing with my grandfather and uncle. As I said in this video, fishing is becoming a lost art/skill because of careless people and SELFISH curmudgeons that are more interested in keeping a pristine landscape than giving joy to those who might help maintain the beauty of the areas as a thank you for the privilege of using the land.

Definitely brings memories of grandparents taking us fishing 60yrs ago. Didn’t have the Karen’s we do today.
I for one glad to see this video if for nothing else appears family survived Helena wrath.

@@edwardrmayojr872 Thanks for watching. We are located 22 miles east of Ft. Bragg. Fortunately, we got about 3 inches of rain.

If you had permission from the owner of the pond then it was none of Karen's business. I probably wouldn't have been so polite to him no I wouldn't have been so polite to him 😂

@markd9105 I completely understand, but I had to be. The man who gave us permission to fish is a client. Confronting a Karen might cost me my working relationship with a good client. Not worth it.

@@BigSouthOutdoorsTV I agree, given the circumstances it was the right action on your part 👍

@dimbag1 Thanks for watching. I love making fishing videos. The only problem with making them is having the time to go fishing.

It's a shame that some people can't mind their own business! Looks like that pond was a really good fishing spot and hopefully you and Nate will get to do some more fishing in the future.

@douglasgraham1916 Thanks for watching! I agree. The good thing is, the owner of that area of the pond said we were welcome back any time.
