We were lucky enough to see Henry play at Beatlefest, in Chicago, 2011...he speaks about it in this interview. Meeting him is a memory we will always treasure. This interview shows the humble, sweet, brilliant musician and person he is.

I met Henry at the NY Beatle fest.(2012 or maybe 2013) He rocked on stage with Denny Seiwell & others. He had the stroke shortly after & just shocked everyone. R.I.P. What a talent & nice guy too.

What a modest man. Luckily I saw him play in a little bar 3pm in from Belfast back in like 2005.

Ahhhh! That's what confused me. One was (Scottish) Jimmy McCulloch, the other was Henry McCullough (Irish - 'Norn Iron')
James McCulloch (4 June 1953 - 27 September 1979) was a British musician and songwriter best known for playing lead guitar and bass, as a member of Paul McCartney’s band Wings from 1974 to 1977.
On 27 September 1979, James McCulloch was found dead by his brother in his flat in Maida Vale, London. An autopsy found that McCulloch died of heart failure due to morphine and alcohol poisoning. He was 26 years old but was not known for being a user of hard drugs (just one of those things?!)
Henry Campbell Liken McCullough (21 July 1943 - 14 June 2016) was a Northern Irish guitarist, singer and songwriter. He was best known for his work which included Paul McCartney and Wings.
n 1972 Paul McCartney asked McCullough to join his new band, Wings, alongside Denny Laine and Denny Seiwell. He spent two years in the band, playing lead guitar on several singles, including “Hi, Hi, Hi“, “Live and Let Die” and “My Love” as well as the album Red Rose Speedway. Musical differences with McCartney, however, saw McCullough leave on the eve of the Band on the Run sessions.
