    VERY NICE RIG' great mods. But the only statement i disagree with is that it is a Z71 ,NEVER HAS A TBZ71 BEEN PRODUCED..you may have used z71 springs from a Tahoe...only top notch Trailblazer is a Northface edition..but overall a very sweet modded TB

    • @willdog3
      @willdog3 5 лет назад

      Youre right, the Z71 springs are off a Tahoe, this is a very common upgrade to the Trailblazer, the Tahoe springs are stiffer and give you like 1 inch of additional lift in the rear when you install them on the TB. The stiffer springs also give you better towing capacity. You also need to use longer shocks too though in the rear, the stock TB shocks are not long enough.

    • @anthonystubblefield4987

      I agree no z71 but you know kinda looks cool and it's his done to his liking probbly a mall queen anyway!

    • @willdog3
      @willdog3 5 лет назад

      @@anthonystubblefield4987 ha probably, these TBs arent really great off road unless you put lockers and better gearing in them. Either way, even if it stays on pavement, the lifted look is much better than the minivan look of the stock trucks. I love my 2006, but its about to get a lift cuz i dont like how low it looks lol.

    Ok so I have the 2.5 inch lift for the front an back. Why did u swap the upper control arms an should I do that as well will it throw off my alignment or no. An how hard was it to do the body lift do I have to use a lift to do it or no. As I do not have one. I own a 2008 Chevy trailblazer white an I love it.

    • @truckmeister505
      @truckmeister505  5 лет назад +1

      The body lift is extremely hard but not impossible, I love the body lift kit , it rides like a Cadillac. The rmt upper control arm swap doesn't through the alignment off

    • @diacom496
      @diacom496 5 лет назад

      The reason for swapping the control arms after the lift is for better geometry for the alignment. The Body lift was pretty easy if you followed Marks instructions, takes maybe 3-4 hours. Downside is he doesn't make them anymore so you'll have to piece one together yourself or go with a smaller BL that is available.

      Kerstin, you can find a similar lift on Amazon. That and new shocks will run you less than $500. Add in labor and you'll have the total cost for the suspension. Next add in the wheel spacers or new offset wheels and a body lift and you'll still be right around $1000 total give or take. MarkMC doesn't make his anymore, but you can find a similar suspension lift and smaller BL.
