VERY NICE RIG' great mods. But the only statement i disagree with is that it is a Z71 ,NEVER HAS A TBZ71 BEEN PRODUCED..you may have used z71 springs from a Tahoe...only top notch Trailblazer is a Northface edition..but overall a very sweet modded TB
Youre right, the Z71 springs are off a Tahoe, this is a very common upgrade to the Trailblazer, the Tahoe springs are stiffer and give you like 1 inch of additional lift in the rear when you install them on the TB. The stiffer springs also give you better towing capacity. You also need to use longer shocks too though in the rear, the stock TB shocks are not long enough.
@@anthonystubblefield4987 ha probably, these TBs arent really great off road unless you put lockers and better gearing in them. Either way, even if it stays on pavement, the lifted look is much better than the minivan look of the stock trucks. I love my 2006, but its about to get a lift cuz i dont like how low it looks lol.

Ok so I have the 2.5 inch lift for the front an back. Why did u swap the upper control arms an should I do that as well will it throw off my alignment or no. An how hard was it to do the body lift do I have to use a lift to do it or no. As I do not have one. I own a 2008 Chevy trailblazer white an I love it.
The body lift is extremely hard but not impossible, I love the body lift kit , it rides like a Cadillac. The rmt upper control arm swap doesn't through the alignment off
The reason for swapping the control arms after the lift is for better geometry for the alignment. The Body lift was pretty easy if you followed Marks instructions, takes maybe 3-4 hours. Downside is he doesn't make them anymore so you'll have to piece one together yourself or go with a smaller BL that is available.
Jay, It will depend on how many miles you have on yours. If it is a low mile, say 60K or less, then you might get a way with using the originals, but if you're over 60K, it might be worth getting new ones.
