Such level-headed, practical, focused women! Just listening to them made me feel more peaceful and present. I loved hearing about the spiritual hobbies like photography, and such lovely results! I think that a retreat with them would be very cleansing.
Sisters in Full Habit are so beautiful, as in Saint Clare's time I wish they would continue to wear the Full Habit, hopefully some day they will go back to it.
Sorry, they are not in full habit. This is the first "poor Clares" I have seeing in my years not warring a "VEIL" Modernism is Awful!!!!

@@phantasma616 Because religious habit has had an appeal to women for centuries.Sisters were known and recognized for their distinctive habits.In any event this is not a matter of opinion.Look at which congregations of nuns are thriving and which are almost extinct.That will answer your question.
It is so sad to see many religious order deriving from the true catholic tradition. Even "poor clares" are getting away with the traditional habits. San Francis and Clare must be very disappointed with all of these modern changes!! Please take a real look at the CANON LAW 669. Cloistered nuns should always wear a "VEIL" Extremely disappointing!!
If Canon Law requires cloistered nuns to wear a habit and veil, how do so many congregations get around the "rules"?

Donations from the laity.Many monks and nuns work to support their communities.They make hosts,vestments,beer,wine,candy,cheese.etc.
