Thanks for the reply. My steering wheel is on the right, U.K., and the fuses beside that are all small ones. Found 40 Amp & 70 Amp fuses beside the battery under the bonnet. All seemed fine. So perhaps it’s the resistor or the fan ! Renault France seemed to think the Ventilator Fuse was beside the Ventilator Fan underneath the passenger glove box. Could not see it there. Will have to buy a Haines Repair book. Thanks again.

@ChiefJudgeDredd Fan fuse is located behind the storage compartment left from the steering wheel . When you remove this compartment then you can reach it.

@Chuck Lameun. Thank you for watching our videos. Fan blower is located above the cabin/pollen filter, but before you try to reach it it would be good to check the fuse. If the fuse is fine then you can check the fan blower which is pretty hard to take out if it's broken. Here is the link with good description of fan blower problems ( in this case the car is renault megane 3, but it has multiple similarities with scenic 3 ) : www.renaultforums.co.uk/threads/2010-megane-iii-no-fan-blower-fixed.421361/ If your fan is stuck just like this one in the link you can try to move it from inside. To do so you need to take the glove department out ( on left hand drive, if you have a right hand drive model i'm not sure if this is possible to reach with the glove department removed ) and set air intake from within the cabin on your climate control. That will open a door on a fan blower housing which is normally closed when the air is taken from the outside and it will allow you to see the fan blower and to move it with a screwdriver or some similar item in order to unblock it if it's stuck. This is a bit hard to explain. That's why we gave you this link, because it is the best description with pictures we have found online.We hope you will solve this issue and if you have any more questions feel free to contact us. Pozdrav, teško je reći što bi moglo biti, nisam imao takav problem. Najbolje bi bilo skinuti ventilator i pokušati utvrditi zbog čega se to čuje, a onda tražiti rješenje.

I have problems with mine,its totally non responsive on the buttons,fan wont rev up, BUT sometimes it works if i use the defrost button,what would you think the problem could be ? I think the fan could not be broken if it works sometimes in defrost mode,but where should i look ?
The problem could be in the climate control unit. We have heard before of this situation, and it worked again after this unit was replaced. It might not be the issue with your car, that's the only experience we have.
@@BbrosAuto Thanks, its been strange lately, the ac stopped working, there is gas in it but it wont engage, and the fan has been weird, sometimes it wont start and if it did you couldnt lower it but now only defrost works sometimes and sometimes you cant turn it off until you stop the car, and it will keep running abit after you exit the car. Nothing is different if i turn ac on/off or the other button to use the same air. Nothing changes when i change fan speed or where to blow. The control unit, you mean the whole with the pcb in it ?

@@BbrosAuto The fan started to work occasionally so i didnt change the control unit,but now its dead again. I listened when changing fan direction and those vents are moving,and everything else but the fan speeds work on the unit. I measured by the 40a fuse and got 12v but by the fan motor connector i only get like 6-7v,with the defrost mode on. I removed and checked the connector and wiggled it in case it was not contact but nothing happens. I cant hear the fan but could it be running very slow and not audible, and maybe the resistor pack is faulty ? Or could it be as with the Megane, the connector on the left side perhaps "burned" and not making contact ? Whats your guess ? Today it was raining i will take out the fan motor tomorrow it it doesnt and see what happens when i put 12 on,then i will know if its broken or not, but i suspect its something on the chain before since i get so low volt by the connector. Sorry for the bad english but i hope you understand what im trying to say :) Thanks for your videos !
Hi, the problem could be with relay. We're not sure where it is but the power supply on the fan is coming from the resistor so it's probably there. Thank you for watching!
@@rifetfarizi6109 Yes, the resistor burned out. Don't even try with the secondhand parts, it's a wasting time (and money). I was made the same mistake. Twice. Try to get original part from the Renault services. I payed this cca 130$.

Zivim u Sloveniji,naso jedan otpornik 40 eura rabljeni ispravan al opet nije resio problem,puse mi ventilator na puno
