This is a lawsuit just waiting to happen, I mean, they're literally playing the theme music in the pre-show and had the huge picture of Doc Brown at the entrance.
@@TwilightLink77 cant imagine that lol. a small italian theme park doesn't do deals with universal. universal wouldn't give their IPs away, even tho they buy in IPs themselves lol. the only thing i could imagine is that they accuired rights from a local distributer, and italy's copyright laws being a bit more relaxed, but thats just speculation. for example, movie park germany once accuired a Walking Dead IP, but not from AMC, who own it, but FOX Television Germany, who showd it on TV. it was more or less an advertisement deal
So it’s not a knockoff if this is about Doc Brown’s sons Jules and Verne continuing the legacy of their father by taking guests back in time? The continuation we needed if they brought back BTTF The Ride at Universal.
Okay, this is beyond bizarre. Where did this come from? Aside from all the various copyright violations, this is a master class in how NOT to design a theme park attraction. Almost 8 minutes of mind-numbing preshow, followed by what can only be called a "theater show". Not a simulator. Not a flying theatre. Are they supposed to be in a DeLorean? What's that set in front of the obviously-not-a-window screen? It then hits all the plot points of the old original Universal ride only to end with "to be continued"? Who ends a ride with "to be continued"? This is insane.
well, i'd rather listen to 8 minutes of pre-show than standing in a que for 8 more minutes, wich wouöd be the consequence of getting rid of the pre-show.
I'm telling you, we seriously need a new Back to the Future Ride, they should have never replaced it with The Simpsons, BTTF was the best ride, I live near Orlando and my biggest thrill was going on the ride until 2007 when they replaced it, I never went back to Universal since
Yes, the inevitable non BTTF re-theme when the Universal lawyers come knocking (maybe they even have a generic ride video + preshow ready for that) will be part II
wait you complain about movieland losing it's movies, and yet you complain about movieland doing a movie themed ride? just because its unofficial? you do realize that EVERY movie ride they had was probably unofficial, maybe except for Tomb Raider (because paramount is pretty much the only studio still renting out its IPs) i think the ride movie is pretty cool, but i agree that it may not be the perfect fit for the ride system. but have you seen the newer rides in the park? while they not have real movies as themes, the rides are absolutely amazing and some even more fun and more action than at universal studios. it is just really hard to get the rights to use a real movie these days. disney basically bought every studio except universal, paramount and warner brothers. warner brothers has their own parks, plus Six Flags in the US, and they would never rent out their licenses to a park in the country next to their own park lol. universal would never rent out their IPs as well. the only studio left would be Paramount, who recently made a long-time contract with Movie Park Germany and their group Parques Reunidos, and depending on wether the contract is exclusive or not, that could mean they're out of reach for movieland as well (wich sucks, but its a good thing for movie park). but honestly movieland is such a great park, i think your critic is a but strict, especially since it is such a small regional park with no big budgets
Considering that universal themselves have zero appreciation for Back to The Future anymore - I commend Italy for recognizing the value of that film/series/ride and copying it.
Well it was creative at least I don't know how you're still in business and I'm sure eventually universal welcome and knocking but hey you tried I like the flames in the actual stage show that was cool head down but I don't know how you're gonna continue as you're right says at the end we'll just have to wait and see good luck.
Okay, who ordered *Back to the Future: The Ride* off of Wish?
Glad to see Dr. Brown's kids had some diverse culture in their upbringing. Learning Italian has paid off for them.
This is a lawsuit just waiting to happen, I mean, they're literally playing the theme music in the pre-show and had the huge picture of Doc Brown at the entrance.
lol if you look close at the picture it’s not Christopher Lloyd
Unless they made a deal with Universal to use their ip for the attraction

Ride it quick before the lawyers show up!
You know what was a great American ride? Back to the Future. Let's just re-make it in CGI. Spielberg will never know!

This is some Little Panda Fighter/What's Up/Strange Rope Hero stuff.
how in gods name did they get away with this
Laws in different countries. That’s how.

I struggled to watch this. There's no way that's been approved. Also are we now stranded in 1885?
Great Scott!
Did anyone notice the Cyberdyne logo at the exit doors?
Apparently it use to be a terminator show
So are you just stuck in 1885 at the end?
Wow, do copyright laws not exist there?
back to the future at home

Oh my oh my?!
I didn't know Johnny Depp was part of the show! But in reality, he was one of the first choices for Marty McFly before MJF!😮
MJF was the first choice, Johnny Depp was just there as one of the backups because Miachel was busy at the time.
@@ThomastheDutchie also Erick Stoltz!😮
I felt like I was breaking a law just watching this hot mess of a ride 😆
Same 🤣
So it just ends with "To Be Continued"? Will the ride have a sequel in the future?
Yes, the inevitable non BTTF re-theme when the Universal lawyers come knocking (maybe they even have a generic ride video + preshow ready for that) will be part II
is there going to be a part 2 to this ride?
The unofficial Back To The Future: The Ride sequel
Back To The Future: The Ride Pt. 2!
We are the kids in the future
Great Scott! This is weird!
This is not my Doc Brown! This is a multiverse version of Back To The Future 😁😁😁😁
Another ride
Seriously, what is this and how has Universal not sued them?
Because U.S. laws don't apply outside said country
@@LittleTeemo7 lol no. we have strict copyright laws in europe, but italy is... let's say slower, when it comes to buerocracy

Kids? Father? So Doc Brown married an Italian? Or relocated in Italy and raised his kids there? Because those kids aren’t talking like Doc Brown. 😂
We are so barack frfr

what in the delorean world is this !!??
its like its hell there
Le pre-show sono troppo lunghe. Se accorciavano quelle è allungavano la Ride stessa sarebbe stato meglio. Però mi piace molto lo stile scelto
So the “strutting DiCaprio” meme with Doc’s face photoshopped on it, and Discount Nostalgia Critic.
Yikes, like, this isn’t cringe, this is facepalm.
Lol that’s not even Christopher Lloyd’s face photoshopped there 😆

Boy I have never seen something as shameless as this when it comes to theme parks! 😂
Well, people keep asking for BTTF The Ride to come back... seriously, how are they getting away with such a blatant ripoff??
Yes, this bootleg for sure. But when the camera turns back the guy in the yellow is just hanging out is creepy.
Yikes
Wow this going be copyrighted lol
