This is one of my favorite songs on this album, the first one I heard was "I Really Like You" (before it had a music video) and I became addicted to that song, which was Carly's first lead single on a new album in 3 years, since her last hit was Call Me Maybe. It was actually very difficult to follow up with it because that song was an unexpected success, while I do like the fact that it made me aware of Carly Rae Jepsen, the popularity of that song overshadowed her later stuff, which is really unfortunate because she's pretty damn good, it took her three years to make EMOTION and now it's been three years since then. You can tell Carly is no slouch when it comes to her music, she deserves more recognition.
WHY wasn't I there? :'( Every music lover who as ever REALLY listened to Carly's music: "She is unbelievably underrated." The industry: "Ehhh she aight or whatever. Let's give Beyonce her 24th Grammy." The truth: THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT.
I came in expecting to be disappointed by her lack of talent live, like most modern pop stars, but like when I listened to the actual album I found myself pleasantly surprised. Glad to see there's still talent in the music industry!
A friend of mine recommended her album to me and I was very cynical as I'm not a pop listener by norm. But I was so surprised of finding a real quality work! And I love the Side B EP even more than the LP. Very high quality music!
Can't believe Carly invented emotions
So fucking trueeeee
I did scream.
I absolutely agree 💯
This song is a banger! 😍 The whole album is an underrated masterpiece.
Carly as an underrated as an artist
I don't know why but this song makes me burst with tears of joy. Love it.
Her songs are so 80's. I love it. Don't listen to much pop but her music and her band are pretty damn talented.
Carly Rae Jepsen featuring her bassist.

This album is a gem!
Ever wonder why the best songs (like this) and the best artists (like her) are so under-rated?

Listen to extralovable by Prince. 1983 version on RUclips. Exact same groove. They stole it. No difference. Exact same.
