Finding love, raising a child and churning out good music while she’s at it too, the Number 1 African Bad Girl has done it all - and she’s far from ready to stick a fork in it & for the second episode of our BlackBox Interview series, Tiwa bares it all.
In part one, she opens up on her early years, life as a young black girl in the UK, moving to the US and some thoughts on the recent #EndSARS protests.

On whatever she went or she's going through she remains the Queen of Afrobeats and the best female export in Africa from Nigeria, she makes every type of music that your fav can do she'll do it and raise it to the same level of bar that your fav does, she's been there for 10 years and she is still keeping the same consistency and energy in delivering premium music and hit songs that any female artist will wish to have in her discography

Tiwa: from a semi middle-class Nigerian to being bullied, shattered and was suicidal for a couple of occasions, and caught a lousy opportunity that magically changes her life. Whew! I never knew much about you until now. Like they say, every real star got own story, and you have a story, very authentic and such validation has increased your profile girl!

Hey, I really like the idea of the black box interview, it’s great. As a music lover, an avid RUclips ‘watcher’ and Nigerian too, it’s great great content. I love it.
Even though it’s not a lot, and I say that because I’m seeing and hearing the interview perfectly, I couldn’t help but notice Ebuka ‘apparently’ struggling with his headphones and trying to play it cool while he appeared to be holding it in place, and I say ‘apparently’ because I’m not quite sure what was going on but as much as it’s nothing and this is not a minus in any way, it’s a little distracting for some and I say that because not everyone will notice it but if you do, you can’t help it. Like I said, it’s just a side note and me trying to contribute to making a show I enjoy watching even more pleasurable. Great job guys, well done. 👍🏾
