  • Опубликовано: 8 ноя 2020
  • Nearly a decade ago, Tiwa Savage’s sultry sounds graced our ears and changed the face of pop music in Nigeria. Since then, her sonic exploits have shot her up to superstardom heights and earned her numerous accolades. Finding love, raising a child and churning out good music while she’s at it too, the Number 1 African Bad Girl has done it all - and she’s far from ready to stick a fork in it. For the second episode of our BlackBox Interview series, Tiwa bares it all.
    Part two sees her chronicling her move back to Nigeria, her rise to the top of a male-dominated industry, rivalries and her thoughts on the big bad F (Feminism).

    I get the sense that Ebuka's interviews are always good because he likes gist 😂. This doesn’t discount the fact that Ebuka is a seasoned professional and good interviews (and questions) require hardwork, but man, he remembers the tiniest details from scandals and his reactions are priceless! hahahha. Great interview, fantastic job!

    Comparisons with other female artist
    She gets hated for no reason
    She get dragged for no reason
    Anything she does, they'll find something wrong with it but she still gives hit songs and deliver premium content and she no go stop anytime soon, 10 years and counting she's still there serving it hot hot ❤️we stan a Queen of Afrobeats

    one thing that is good to point out ... why don't male artists speak up against the unfairness against female artists? imagine how long Tiwa's career has been and she literally doesnt complain or hop on the radio to say much. i can feel her energy through this and i feel a slight sense of frustration which she is entitled to by all means. the girls have been killing the game back to back in all their lanes, there was a time where females didnt have a solid brand in Nigerian Music industry.

    • @wasgan165
      @wasgan165 3 года назад +8

      Honestly this is basically one of those issue that needs to be addressed in Nigeria music industry.. A music industry solely male dominated, i feel the likes of Tiwa deserves more respect and appreciation.

    Ebuka is so good an interviewer....
    You just gotta love the way he asked those questions and still maintained the same level of passion and emotion as Tiwa!
    He was not overbearing and too random with his question.
    He took the question stepwise and that even made Tiwa eased into the interview very well, felt relaxed and comfortable sharing her story.
    This is really like Two best friends hanging and reminiscing about life and what they've been through. Ebuka made sure the interview felt that way. Kudos. I wish Tiwa more greatness, respect and the appreciation she deserves.

    So many songs you do not initially like but constant radio play and subconsciously you learn the lyrics and can sing word for word. That my folks is how many hit songs are made.
