I just saw your artwork on Twitter and it's incredible. You capture the magic of nature in such a unique, but essential way. (I wish I had papaver somniferum in my garden in January though!)
Your registration is amazing to me. Are you working on wet paper (blotted and damp)? If wet, do you pre-stretch it before you begin your series? I’m also amazed that your trace monotype doesn’t pick up any random dots around your trees. Brilliant work!
Sorry for slow reply - just seen your question. Yes damp blotted paper. I don't pre-stretch it but line up to the same corner each time. On a large sheet, the stretch is 5-7mm in one direction so I just take that into account when designing. And I do get random dots with the trace monotype!
Wonderful art and astonishing techniques. Very inspiring ❤
Beautiful!! Thank you for sharing your lovely practice with us!!
I like seeing the notebook with the colors in it.
Just wonderful, thanks so much for sharing

I would Love to see a series just on clouds and sunsets. Your colour and sky prints are mesmerising!

Fantastic...
Exquisite.
Thanks for sharing your beautiful work, just love it and Happy New Year.
👌💕
Why roll the blended colors onto the plate and not the paper? Beautiful work though.
