What I love about oil based ink is how it’s so much more beautiful to manipulate.. something you just can’t get with acrylic paint imo ❤ I’m sorta binging all your videos lol You’re work is just so gorgeous ❤️

In this one I believe I heard u say “damp paper” . In another video of yours I didn’t hear u say that. Wetting the paper (damp) is how I learned to do it too. What paper are you using? BFK Rives?

I did this technique in monoprinting class in college. I remember thinking what was the point of painting on the plexiglass just to print it on the paper. Why not just do a painting on paper.. but then I pulled my print and I understood why… the nuances you get when printing is nothing like a painting. I noticed you didn’t wet your paper before printing.. why? We always wet the paper and also we used oil paints. Ty for your tutorial, very inspiring ❤
