I will say say she’s a lot younger than me so maybe that’s it too or she actually does have a boyfriend which I’m actually hoping she does as that would explain. What does everyone else think??
A lot of women say "I have a boyfriend" to get guys to leave them alone. Doesn't matter either way. She's made it clear she isn't interested. I'd try to use the gym when she isn't there or look for another gym.

its difficult to let go of someone you love, i was in a similar situation, my relationship of 12 years ended, but i couldn't just let him go i did all i could to get him back, i had to seek the help of a spiritual counselor who helped me bring him back

I think you already know there's no easy way, and there aren't any tricks that make the problem suddenly disappear, but there are some things that can help reduce the time it takes to heal. Main thing: Try to notice the parts of the relationship that were really the best parts of you that you invested into the relationship and right now feel like they are just part of the relationship. E.g. maybe you remember moments together spent doing something you both enjoyed, so in that case you can understand that you personally enjoyed doing that thing because it's something you personally enjoy, not only because it was part of the relationship. These things are the best parts of you that were yours before and are still yours now, and you will need them going forward in life for both yourself and your future better relationship.
