Ryan and Colin obviously loved Kathy. Its a surprise she came back on the show. Its even a bigger surprise that ABC actually allowed this to be on the air
@@scottythegreat1 Kathy was on the show because Ryan and Colin wanted her on, having worked with her at Second City Toronto. Unfortunately once on the show she wasn't given a whole lot to do - she wasn't allowed to participate in Hoedowns or Irish Drinking Songs, and ended up as the straightwoman in guessing games such as Let's Make a Date or Party Quirks. There was one episode which was edited in such a way that she didn't have any speaking roles! She got done dirty by Dan Patterson!
"Welcome to whose line is it anyway, the show where everything is made up and the points dont matter""Thats right, the points are like the number of sins at CinemaSins"
No Drew sucks... he brings nothing to the show because he's terrible at improv and his little skits at the end are the worst. I can only think of like 3 times he was funny
I didn't think much of Aisha in her first year, but now I think she has improved to the point where she is even better than Drew, who really didn't do a damn thing, not a daaaamn thing.
I took a class in improve, and my favorite moment was someone singing a song and someone else tagged them out to sing a related song. I’m in my 60s, everyone was young enough to be my grandchild. I didn’t recognize any songs sung. Finally, a young woman sang Like a Virgin, and I saw my chance. I tagged her out singing Ave Maria. I turned as I was tagged out, the teacher was in a fetal position on the floor. Best moment.
When i was late-20s, in the early-mid '80s, my (then) husband & i went through catechism because reasons. At our First Communion, the presiding priest, who was wearing an early version of a wireless mic, led in the procession carrying in a tall metal crucifix. Which acted as an antenna & faintly picked up a local radio station. In between the call-&-response, you could hear a very quiet, almost _subliminal_ Madonna's _Material Girl_ leaking from the speakers. I thought it was hilarious, & was biting my mouth to keep from laughing! I was glad it wasn't _Like a Virgin, _ or _Papa Don't Preach_ instead because i wouldn't have been able to keep my composure at all.
I really miss this show. Colin Mochrie and Ryan Stiles were absolute giants! They were the only two to be regulars on both the original British and American series.
What I love the most about Ryan's mistake is the fact that despite the amount of people in the room the whole time-- not one person said anything. That was fucking hilarious.
I love how the entire time he's doing, he doesn't realize he's got the wrong movie, but literally two seconds after he stands up it hits him. Oh, Ryan; his nose clouds his brain sometimes :P . -IMP ;) :)
Something I love about these guys (and gal): they've been doing improv comedy together in this format for almost 20 years (if we go back to the UK episodes). So when a scene is dying, and they're allowed to intercede, they know EXACTLY what to do. Colin and Kathy's GWTW? Dying. So here comes Wayne with one of the best saves in comedy history -- and DAYAMN would I have LOVED to see something like that in the original film!! I love GWTW, but it's deeeefinitely got some revisionist history goin on there. Woulda LOVED to see Butterfly McQueen go, "Remember when you slapped me in Atlanta? Well, KISS MY ASS, I AM OUTTA HERE." Anyhoo...yeah.
Ryan: Wait, that's not Close Encounters, what am I doing? Kathy: OMG, you're right! Colin: He did again. XD Wayne: That was classic! Drew: Why does Ryan get all the lap dances around here?
"E.T. want lap dance!" haha xD oh man that was hilarious everyone's cracking and Ryan's like "Oh that's not close encounters!" xD haha gotta luv Ryan Stiles!
"Green Mile, which is how far I'm gonna kick your ass if you... [get the movie wrong again]" was Drew's most awful and cringey improv ever on the show. Loved Wayne's subtle Beetlejuice reference, though!
The sketch that starts at 1:43 was supposed to be "close encounters of the third kind", but Ryan did "E.T. the Extra Terrestrial" instead. The wonderful part is that Ryan didn't notice his mistake until they were already done the sketch.
He said Sixth Sense but Ryan started doing Beetlejuice and Wayne just followed along. Then Ryan mixed up Close Encounters with ET. The Green Mile was hilarious LOL. I love this show so much! They all keep me laughing the entire show and although I loved Drew Carey as the host I like Aisha Tyler too...she is pretty quick witted and funny.
the sixth sense was accurate, they were portraying the ghosts Cole saw. ya know "I see dead people" lol but they did add a little beetlejuice in there I'll admit XD
I've been enjoying them, but I've also seen most of the episodes. It does tend to lose quite a bit when they bring up a running joke because if you haven't seen the episode, you won't get the running jokes in context of where they started.
OMG, Ryan's improvisation for the Green Mile is just about the funniest thing I've ever seen...these guys are absolutely amazing!
+B Blais Yeah, it's genius!
I died!!
he was sentenced to death by an electric chair. Ryan said it's not working so he tried to kill him with carpet shock
I was really hoping Ryan would accidentally shock Wayne in the process lol.
"The Green Mile, which is how far I'm gonna kick your ass" lol
This show was great. These guys were just nuts.I bumped in to Collin at an airport. He was actually shy in real life. But nice.
+Kevin Doran Lucky ducky! He seems like such a nice guy. I'd love to just shake his hand.
+Kevin Doran Colin has said that he is only uninhibited around the Whose Line guys. So sweet :P
Kevin Dora
Kevin Doran in
They were good on the drew Carey show as well. No better combination than Oswald and lewis
I love it when the four of them start laughing when Ryan said "Well thats not Close Encounters what am I doing"
Looked to me like Ryan managed to perfectly capture a close encounter.
"E.T. want lap dance!"
"All right, but you tickle!"
Despite Ryan's mistake, that was still pretty funny.
I think he actually tickled her at the end
Which was the mistake?
@@BluessNRock drew told him to do close encounters, he did e.t.
You could tell Ryan was embarrassed but he instantly recovered with that Green Mile skit
"That's not Close Encounters, what am I doing?!"
You're getting a lapdance, is what you're doing.
I mean it was a close encounter
Ryan and Colin obviously loved Kathy. Its a surprise she came back on the show. Its even a bigger surprise that ABC actually allowed this to be on the air

Colin saved that Terminator one.
+Painindeass1million No.
+Josh Shelley (ShellMaster FIlms) It was a group effort. It evolved, that's what improv should be.
@@Qermaq that’s what he said
@@andrewlaxton50 Yeah!
I kinda feel like they were intentionally setting him up for that.
"Well that's not close encounters...It's a space movie..." Ryan is awesome. LOL
I love how Colin is already standing there with his head in his hand. Priceless.
"It's a space movie, what do you want!?"
"Close. Encounters."
"Green Mile, which is how far I'm gonna kick yo ass!"
He tickled her belly. It was the natural follow through after her "Alright, but you tickle!"
wow...at 2:10 you can actually hear Colin laugh out loud for once. it's muffled by his hand, but you can still hear it :)
I love how Wayne and Colin was cracking up in the background when he made that mistake.
I love Wayne says “hey” and Ryan responds “huh” before realizes Wayne was in character.
No, they both were in character, he just thought he was talking to him and not "the little boy."
@@NinjaOnANinja that was another mistake. The dead couldn't see each other.
Scene does contain a lap dance.
I understood that reference. :D

+Nazael Rahl I've heard about alien close encounters but not sure If this relates to the alien one.. if so then LOLOLOL
+Nazael Rahl Ahhhh Cinema Sins right?
"Oh that's not close encounters ... what am I do-ha" I love these guys.
well he got a free lapdance out of it
He didn't make a mistake. A sexy lap dance for a wrong answer is a correct thing to do, so no mistakes here
+Spencer Chua Wei Ye 69 likes. I dare not add one.
Qermaq Now it's 75
Spencer Chua Wei Ye well, it's 205 now.
Thats not what it was, if you listen carefully right at the buzzer you can hear Ryan make a jizz sound.
Technically, that would be a close encounter of at least a couple of kinds.
I miss drew, he was a good supporting actor to the guys.
Way better than Aisha Tyler imo
ShadeOf Pinks no.
No Drew sucks... he brings nothing to the show because he's terrible at improv and his little skits at the end are the worst. I can only think of like 3 times he was funny

Drew is a dumbass, and i remember him only from his ass print on that chair
Lol, I love how they re-enact the green, mile. "Look... the chair is broken so..."

They really should have played this game more.
Any mistake that ends in a lap dance is no mistake at all my friend
XD "E.T want lap dance."
What I love the most about Ryan's mistake is the fact that despite the amount of people in the room the whole time-- not one person said anything. That was fucking hilarious.
ET want lap dance - Close encounters.... seems legit
seems*
Ashura Walker Hong Kong picture? :3
Schneider And Andropov You know it XD
Clothes, I mean close enough.
Well, he made up for it instantly with that Green Mile bit.
ET, Close Encounters... ah, close ENOUGH! lol
Well, at least he got a lap dance.
for free even!
um... winning
I'd say that's a close encounter enough... hee hee hee hee hee hee hee.
loved the way Kathy danced
i like how someone beatboxes when she does the lapdance XD
I just love how Kathy stops her self from laughing out loud @ 2:08
"Well that wasn't Close Encounters at all!" lol No, Ryan, it wasn't.
I don’t care if the movie was supposed to be Spartacus, a Kathy Greenwood lap dance is always the right answer!
Was it a mistake? Yes it was. Was it a mistake I can live with and enjoy the results of? Absolutely.

Sean Hurley
Thanks, obviously didn't catch that. Fixed!
I loved the way it gave the audience a thrill
I love how Ryan starts laughing when he suddenly notices he messed up.
It's OK, it was a close encounter, if you know what I mean! ;)
+pspboy7 If that had gone any further, they would never have been able to air that, if you know what I mean.
+Kobe Bonhomme I am just noting that Kathy was the one Ryan chose to bring out for the lap dance, if you know what I am saying.
Beyonce Knowles
There wasn't a whole lot of outer space between them if you catch my drift!
I'm sure his finger wasn't the only thing wiggling if ya know what I'm sayin....
Colin and Ryan are my favorites
i love who dark Wayne gets with it at :57 when he fake pulls back his face. XD
I love how the entire time he's doing, he doesn't realize he's got the wrong movie, but literally two seconds after he stands up it hits him. Oh, Ryan; his nose clouds his brain sometimes :P .

It’s the height, it deprives his brain of oxygen sometimes.
Ryan knew exactly what he was doing. He wanted more laughs by saying he mixed up the movies.
I love when Ryan realizes what he did! XD
I love seeing them all laugh together at 2:10! its awesome
Close Encounters of a Different Kind...
2:02
I want a 10 minute loop of that.
Which pixel is Ryan Stiles?
the slightly orange tinted one 😂😂
Keegan. MOV the one with the big feet and big nose
No kidding. I clicked the little "Settings" gear and then "Quality" and it just said "Nope".
The one with the blue shoes.
The one with the longer stretch of pixels where his head would be (that's his nose ;-) )
He was so busy trying to get Kathy to give him a lapdance that he forgot what movie he was doing. Who can blame him?
When he was told it wasn't close encounters, he should have said " No but it almost became one."
"E. T. want lap dance."
Thank you, Ryan!!!

Drew: "Close Encounters"
Ryan: "E.T. Want Lap Dance........ Wait That's Not Close Encounters What Am I Doing"
"Well, that's not close encounters! What am I doing?..."
The Green Mile gag was actually the funniest one, just overshadowed by the ET mistake haha
Ryan: Wait, that's not Close Encounters, what am I doing?
Kathy: OMG, you're right!
Colin: He did again. XD
Wayne: That was classic!
Drew: Why does Ryan get all the lap dances around here?
That terminator part was a complete mess. Wayne and Kathy didn't have a clue where to go with it.
Kathy just messed it up for Wayne, but Colin fixed it.
I mean. It happens. Improv is not easy.
and fixed it well! SLICE!
Wayne said Sarah Connors, instead of Connor.
Wayne knew exactly what he was doing. The camera guy didn't.
*Does skit.* *Walks back* "That's not close encounters."
That had to be my favorite part. XD
That wasn't close encounters
I ain't even mad
Watch this video just to see the four of them crack up, something I haven't seen, and Drew just shaking his head at them.
Kathy nearly ruined the Terminator thing but Waynes quick thinking and Collin's part saved it.
"E.T. want lap dance!" Missed by a few years, amigo.
Now THAT'S a Close Encounter to "phone home" about, ET!
;)
I would make a mistake also to get that lap dance
The Terminator bit, eerie how close it is to Genisys.
"look at him! he peeded him self!!" bahahah
They were really bombing the Terminator one but Colin totally saved it.
To be fair, it was a "Close Encounter" ;)
"E.T. want lap dance!" haha xD oh man that was hilarious everyone's cracking and Ryan's like "Oh that's not close encounters!" xD haha gotta luv Ryan Stiles!
Drew: "Close Encounters!" Ryan; "I KNOW!"
He said close encounters and he certainly got a close encounter
"Green Mile, which is how far I'm gonna kick your ass if you... [get the movie wrong again]" was Drew's most awful and cringey improv ever on the show.
Loved Wayne's subtle Beetlejuice reference, though!
If there's one thing about space movies, is that their a thousands times more attractive and wooing!
Such a good bunch of cast members. So nice on the responses, too.
Colin is just face palming lol
She shakes it like a goddess
Pervs
REALLY? It looked really uncoordinated to me.
I must have seen more lap dances than you.
Not something to boast about having to pay for women to dance with you
The sketch that starts at 1:43 was supposed to be "close encounters of the third kind", but Ryan did "E.T. the Extra Terrestrial" instead. The wonderful part is that Ryan didn't notice his mistake until they were already done the sketch.
I don't know what close encounters is but I'm like..."why is he doing ET?"
Wow Colin totally saved that terminator skit
really? you think so? I've always loved the way she and Colin work together. She's one of my favorite guest stars, to be honest
that's was a close encounter
It's hard to remember everyone has a different sense of humour.
but in The Sixth Sense they don't know they're dead
Sometimes they don't know their dead. Ones like the little girl he helped new all to well.
They also don't pull Hollywood stunts like in Beetlejuice.
U Must Agree to Google+ Terms Tho U Don't Want It lol i thought the same when i saw it
Kathy, i want a lapdance too
Well, good thing I brought some popcorn along.
LOL, the guy in the backround.
"YEAHH"
That has to be Cathy's best work on the show.
That wasn't a brilliant mistake..
i think the uploader meant brilliant as in like awesome not as in intelligent
I just realized Wayne was beatboxing for Kathy's ET lapdance
The Terminator joke aged like fine wine from the recent movies
He said Sixth Sense but Ryan started doing Beetlejuice and Wayne just followed along. Then Ryan mixed up Close Encounters with ET. The Green Mile was hilarious LOL. I love this show so much! They all keep me laughing the entire show and although I loved Drew Carey as the host I like Aisha Tyler too...she is pretty quick witted and funny.

its a anonying and not funny with all this short videos and best of..
Can someone upload full episodes and alle the season with Drew Carey as host?
They are all on the CW website for free
I cant watch it on that page.
I've been enjoying them, but I've also seen most of the episodes. It does tend to lose quite a bit when they bring up a running joke because if you haven't seen the episode, you won't get the running jokes in context of where they started.
Meow!
Wow, a Whose Line I actually haven't seen... I cracked up when Ryan was like "Oh wait" haha reminds me of the dishwasher/washing machine mess up.
"ET...wants...LAP DANCE! " LMAO
Kathryn Greenwood is so hot.
1:36 that what happens to women who refuse a man's protection
Because there are signs they say "laugh" or "clap" or "cheer" that light up on cue.
I don't know what everyone is talking about. This show wasn't replaced. It still comes on. I watch it almost every night...
colin stepped in and saved the terminator sequence.
