- An awesome day hunting, ruffed grouse and spruce grouse in western Newfoundland. We drove some roads and went for some walks, we saw about 15 birds in total, what a great day.

Good hunting ! Great videos, thoroughly enjoyable. What size shot do you use? And it looks to be a good CBC single shot you have... great solid guns
Glad to hear you enjoy them ! I use #4 shot or #6 shot. I find anything past #6 will blow the bird apart if the shot isn’t an ideal one, or a headshot . The less pellets the less it tears them apart on a bad shot or non head shot👍

once i saw you're road hunters i lost all interest.....get a dog
There’s a difference between road hunting & taking game that happens to be near the road lol.
I will continue to hunt without a dog , you don’t NEED a dog.
