The quick shot of the zombie dimension was indeed a Walking Dead reference. In the comics, there’s a panel like that, but it actually shows Shane and Rick in their cop car right before things go down in that universe. It’s one of the best comic book Easter eggs of all time, in my opinion

I'm honestly curious about what will Shrinking Rae do now since she isn't supposed to survive. Either way, if she does last long, I have a feeling that may end near or during that “Multiverse” Arc.
8:50 Rex-plode’s main power is his whole gambit thing. He can charge inorganic objects with kinetic energy so they explode. The bigger the object, the longer it takes to charge, which is why he usually charges smaller objects. Aside from the kinetic charging, he also has mildly enhanced strength, durability, endurance and agility. Thats how he survived being shot in the head and being beat up by Monster girl. He's stronger and tougher than he looks. "Rex's muscles are several times stronger than any normal human athlete, though modest in comparison with more advanced (superhumans)... These enhancements result in increased strength and resistance to injury... (Rex is) capable of charging molecules to an unstable level, making any inorganic object he can hold in his hands volatile and explosive" (The official Handbook of the Invincible Universe, page 26). Sidenote, in the comics, Rex-plode has a tragic backstory. I don't wanna spoil anything but there is a reason he didn't finish school and was homeless for a while. I hope they make a special episode about him, like they did with Atom Eve
It makes sense that Rae wouldn't just get crushed to death since she could of just shrinked back to super small to avoid getting killed, and the crushing sound could of just been her bones being broken and her being in pain. A quick realization that you can't overpower or better say outmuscle the opponent could of led to her deciding to shrink even injured, cuz it was only way to survive
Idk to me I think it was because his head got blown off that she didn't die. It seemed like he just didn't get enough time to pass her along his digestive track. I bet if he didn't die his body would have continued to digest her but since his brain was gone the process stopped and she was able to push herself out of his neck

They need to dedicate another special episode detailing Rex Splode's backstory. This man's resiliency is top brass like crazy!
After last week's and this episode. Rex deserves a special episode and maybe Cecil too just because he's a interesting character too.
Probably between season 3
Dude got worked like his name was Mark. But yeah, the man has some superhuman toughness to him
