Yeah I'd say a lot of things Disney draw inspiration from do or did exist in this world, we're just usually so confined tue to lack of money, time and birth places that we hardly know our own spaces (countries) but if you once upon a time take a trip to lands where stories were collected you can get usually get an idea why they've written bout this there and that here.
Well, if you read the video description, you would know that this is more complicated. But yes, Frozen world is inspired by Scandinavia, including some of the music.
This sounds like a lament for me... It’s like the Earth is singing to us, trying to tell us we’ve lost our connection to it. It saddens me, but it also brings me hope at the same time... 💜
A concept: a young girl forever singing for the return of her fallen warrior lover. She’s singing to appease Freya in hopes it’ll convince Odin to release him from Valhalla. A nordic Orpheus and Eurydice story.
If anyone would like to know why Elsa's call is in this video: The call originates from a Gregorian chant from the 11th century called the Dies Irae. The original tune is actually really creepy sounding. I suggest you find the chant and listen to it for yourself. Many songs and movies use the call, either for a creepy scene in a movie to a nice beat (?) in a song. If you'd like to see it used in a song other than "Into The Unknown," Usher uses it in his song "More." John Fassold (I believe that's right) has made a video of them side by side as well!

Just about everything on earth has to kill to live, every animal, every human, has to destroy something else living if it wants to stay alive....Kinda weird when you think about it....Kill or be killed, in order for you to live, you have to kill/destroy something else alive or else you will die...Sometimes we can eat something that has died naturally without having to kill it but often we can't because it is rotted....I guess in a perfect world we would only eat animals and plants that died naturally. Wait for a tree to die naturally before we used the wood build our shelter.

Now i see where Disney draws their inspiration from 🤔
This is so lovely 🌹
Yeah I'd say a lot of things Disney draw inspiration from do or did exist in this world, we're just usually so confined tue to lack of money, time and birth places that we hardly know our own spaces (countries) but if you once upon a time take a trip to lands where stories were collected you can get usually get an idea why they've written bout this there and that here.
Well, if you read the video description, you would know that this is more complicated. But yes, Frozen world is inspired by Scandinavia, including some of the music.
Disney executives: This is lovely! We can make so much money of this!
This sounds like a lament for me... It’s like the Earth is singing to us, trying to tell us we’ve lost our connection to it. It saddens me, but it also brings me hope at the same time... 💜
Over and out I know you are but what is she?
It is I'm taking a walk in the park tommorow to unleash my mother nature
Géssica Rocha brung out a feeling of longing for me, like somewhere deep inside not sure I wanted to feel that but oh well
When we lose our connection with nature we lose ourselves and forget who we truly are. Its important to connect daily.
I made your last thousand like.
A concept: a young girl forever singing for the return of her fallen warrior lover. She’s singing to appease Freya in hopes it’ll convince Odin to release him from Valhalla. A nordic Orpheus and Eurydice story.
Kookie Monster love this
Tuvans and Mongols have tales like these too honestly any Turkic or Altaic.
Beautiful story...i love the chants, the music and the video. Scandinavia is beautiful 💖
The fact that cause of watching vinland saga i understood all of this.
That's beautiful!
If anyone would like to know why Elsa's call is in this video:
The call originates from a Gregorian chant from the 11th century called the Dies Irae. The original tune is actually really creepy sounding. I suggest you find the chant and listen to it for yourself.
Many songs and movies use the call, either for a creepy scene in a movie to a nice beat (?) in a song.
If you'd like to see it used in a song other than "Into The Unknown," Usher uses it in his song "More." John Fassold (I believe that's right) has made a video of them side by side as well!
thank you
theo_ thx Of course!
Hello ! If i'm right , dies irae is meaning " god angry " in latin sorry for my english i am french
Woah! Tbh I do find this a little scaryy
Isn't it the same chant that inspired The Shining's music

This makes me want to cry, people have lost so much by tearing down forest and destroying wildlife
This comment choked me up 😪
Sadly people lost even more when they strayed from the paths of their ancestors..
Wait for a tree to die naturally before we used the wood build our shelter.

if people were engaged in the history of their culture and actually continued with some of those chants, if they were spiritual and/or respectful and appreciative of nature and how beautiful it is. if people did not care as much about material wealth and rather just found a place they were happy, even if that lifestyle isn’t for everyone.

Магический голос, проникает в самые глубины души 🔥🔥🔥
Queen of nature, queen of vikings, queen of snow, queen of mountains, queen of peace, queen of youtube.
Dear Jonna, this is incredibly beautiful. Your photography, your choice of scenes, your own musical accompaniment, your pure voice, your willingness to try new instruments, your physical hardiness to not just "brave" but to embrace the cold Winter, and your keen eye for editing all this into a sublime montage of vision and music -- you are truly gifted, a loving, gentle soul who feels her life and the Earth and your connection to everything. Bravo! And thank you from the bottom of my heart for your inspiration and the joy of life that you bring to us all. Right now my island in Washington state is experiencing Winter storms, and you're helping me appreciate their beauty and magnificence, windy fury and silent calm.
So many beautiful words ❤️🙏 Thank you with all my heart!
My gf passed away a month ago 😭 and I played this at her funeral because she requested it 😭 rip Kyra 1998-2020
I'm so sorry for your loss.
@jonnajinton Thank you so much I listen to this Constantly in memory 😔
R. I. P her soul!
My condolences, I know how hard it can be to lose someone so close. If I were to give advice, don’t let people convince you that you’ll heal, you won’t, you don’t heal from that. Instead you find a way to make peace with it, and to live on if not for yourself than for the one you have lost physically.
I'm so sorry for your loss. 🥺
I love how this reminds me of four of my favourite things: Narnia, Harry Potter, Aurora and Disney💗
Actually, yes. It is like a meld of them all. Good catch. 👍
It reminds me on LOTR
We have all sorts here in Sweden. The trolls mainly in Stockholm confined in the govt. offices. Such is the modern version of ancient sagas. :D
As beautiful as this sounds it reminds you of fantasy and Hollywood ?? You need to get out more.
