- Welcome to Winton, Way Out West in Outback Queensland. This week we immerse ourselves in the rich history of the region with a visit to the Waltzing Matilda Centre, a world class museum dedicated to Australia’s unofficial anthem written by A B (Banjo) Patterson in 1895.
And we step back in time 95 million years to discover the Australian Age of Dinosaurs!
Jasper keeps us entertained at the quirky Musical Fence before we all enjoy the vision splendid of another incredible Outback sunset.
There is so much to see and do in Winton, we may need to extend our stay!
We hope you and your family are safe and well, take care, and stay happy, healthy and hopeful!

We are an ordinary Australian family, creating extraordinary experiences. We've taken a leap of faith, packed up our lives, said goodbye to the 9-5 grind and hello to 24/7 - life as a traveling family!
Being complete caravanning newbies, we are hoping the experiences we share through our Family Travel Australia series will not only have an educational element, but will inspire you to take your own leap of faith, get outdoors and make memories that will last.
We live by the mantra "You don't need to see the whole staircase, just take the first step!"
Jasper your Waltzing Matilda was amazing 😀👍❤️
Was a very special moment we captured - he just really loved hearing and learning the song at the Waltzing Matilda Center and then getting to bang things was awesome 😊👍🇦🇺
Aww jasper is a star ⭐️

Thank you Liz 😊
More singing please Paul and I think the little guy Jasper has the skills as well.
I will watch all your videos now
Awesome, so good to see you and thanks for sharing Winton with us. We had a fantastic time.
We love you guys - it was awesome to hang with you all xxx safe travels
Only just found you on RUclips. Love watching your videos. Was up at Winton a couple of months ago and it was still very dry .We took a tour to Lark quarry with Red Dirt tours to save beating up the car with over 100 ks of corrugations each way .The girl also took us on a Cattle station on jump ups with spectacular views .Even seen an Australian Bustard which is a big plus for me.At Lark Quarry I got 2 good photos of Rufus Crowned Emu Wrens with my 80 to 400 mm lens which is worth a million dollars to me. They also layed on really good meals for us on a full day tour..Didn't like the bore water , lucky we always carry 15 litres of water in the car to make a cup of tea. The water in Mount IIsa and Cloncurry was good reservoir water.I liked Winton, got decent meals at the Tattersals pub .I also got an incredible photo of 100 plus Galahs in a tree one morning against a grey cloud backdrop. It will make an amazing large canvas ..Your videos are exceptionally good , it's a pleasure to watch them .Hope to see many more..
Hi Kevin, we so happy you found us and are enjoying the videos! How good is Winton and Vicki and the team at Red Dirt Tours do such a great job! We’re hoping to up our photography game and get some better lenses foe capturing wildlife! Would love to get some shots like that 👍
