Am I the Only One who actually love TMNT 1987's Casey Jones more than any Versions of CJs just because he does not have the Tragic Backstory involving the Death of his Mom or Dad and wants Revenge???? (also he is not trained by one of the turtles like leo in tmnt 2003 or the foot clan like in rottmnt which i hate and i'm glad you mentioned his appearance in the idw comics too)
@@redred8478 I know 1984 Mirage Comic Casey Jones got the Tragic Backstory like 2003 CJ and Hate it too BUT 1987 Cartoon Casey Jones doesn't have that and I can only Hope he doesn't have Dead Parents like 2003 and 2011 IDW CJ and he just wanna be a Vigilante after watching "Filthy Harry" Movies

I did enjoy this version of casey jones. I'm a little suprised he was only used once in the red sky seasons. Casey joining the main cast would have been better than carver.
You forgot to mention that his season 5 appearance was the first time he met April and unlike other versions of the character he never had a relationship with April.

From season 8, his android body is stuck in the Technodrome in Dimension X. Night of the rogues is from season 7 though, and if I had to make a guess, I'd say his android body didn't in the transport modules.
I honestly prefer this version of Casey Jones. He was all work and no play and I’m glad he wasn’t April’s boyfriend. He was simply a vigilante. He just wanted to fight crime and that was it. He had no time for socialization and he wasn’t romantically interested in April and he wasn’t so much a friend of the Turtles. I honestly never like Casey Jones being April’s boyfriend and it always rubbed me the wrong way.
I resonate with everything you said; '87 Casey Jones is a simple man, and I appreciate that. I also love that he never takes off his mask; it makes this human guy even stranger than the Turtles. Also, yes, I hate it when writers feel the need to pair characters romantically for no other reason than because they're opposite genders. It's such a lazy trope.

Watching this just makes me sad how bad cartoons, and most pop culture is these days. Everything is soft, and revolves around diversity instead of creative storytelling, humor, and true creativity.

I love this version of Casey the is my ultimate favorite out of all Casey Jones!
He originally didn’t have a tragic backstory in the Mirage comics, until they inserted his 2003 backstory into it (which I hated).

Nope. He gave his mask to Raph when he was deformed in Volume 3, but other than that, he was always human.
