Oh the temptation of stairs! Haha 😂 I absolutely agree, the mix of housing makes it very well rounded. I also watch Nordin Walks and Stockholm Walks. That was nice of you to give them a shout out. I appreciate the unique experience of Stockholm through each of your channels. Your commentary feels like a friend talking to you and showing you they’re beautiful city. Thank you for doing these daily walks! 😊
Good morning from South Carolina U.S.A would you consider doing a walk around the ABBA museum.. and the places that Agnetha faltskog lived in Stockholm? I feel you would get thousands of views as so many people love ABBA.. thanks
@@letswalkaroundstockholm you can contact PR of Abba museum, ask a Press pass, and tell them about your RUclips channel where you talk about Swedish culture and city in general... I think they will be happy about it.
“Gård” here means like estate. Also probably the more common meaning pre-modern times, i.e. a main house, some farmhouse, maybe some guest houses plus the enclosed plot of land around it(but not the farming area). But now the more common usage for the word is for the lawn around your house aka “gården”. But if you go back even further the concept of “gård” becomes even bigger like Asgård, Midgård, Utgård from Nordic mythology, and Miklagård which was the name for Istanbul. Then it meant like stronghold or city.
Another enjoyable video! I will check out your RUclips recommendations, especially the Tokyo walker - I love Tokyo! I was a subscriber to Nordin Walks and Stockholm Walks before I found your channel. I still watch them but you have become my favourite Stockholm walker!
Does anyone know if Älvsjö is safe at night around the station? I am planning to come there with friends(male) for a few days, and do not want to get in trouble for anything
@@letswalkaroundstockholm Ah thanks for your quick response! That is comforting news. We of course wont do anything stupid but good to know there is low risk
Look at all the bikes. Thats the problem with Alvsjö, if you want a nice house in a nice "villaområde" its very far from commuting. The closer ones are not as nice. We looked a bit at Älvsjö for buying our house. But have scrapped that idea. Now we look at Bromma and Gamla Enskede mostly. I grow up in Ålsten in Bromma, if you want some nice walk in a classic swedish villa suburn I can really recommend Ålsten, Äppelviken, Höglandet
I like that you speak along the way and help us through the walk. In other youtube walking channels they don’t say a word and I feel weird while watching them. But your videos help us and we feel less lonely during those walks. Thank you!
I think it is so nice that you help promote other vloggers. I watch both of the other channels you mentioned but I like yours because you do explain what you are seeing and where you are going.
regarding the name älvsjö i can see two posibilites for the name the first is älv as in a river which woulde make it riverlake or älv from the word älva which mean elf or fairy so elf/fairylake.
Another beautiful walk! I love that bald and bankrupt channel too, he is genius and his Bolivia video is still the craziest stuff I've ever seen on RUclips, even for his standards😂 Anyway thanks for the tour!
I used to walk up those stairs every weekday when I worked for an eyeglass company in Spånga. Used to commute from Älvjsö to Spånga.. that was many years ago. Thanks for this upload! I live in Seattle now.
Do you watch my videos? Do you enjoy them?

Are you talking about the 'Dancing Queen'?
Are you allowed to film and publish it in such a location? Could be copyright infridgement of some sort :)
@@andersmalmgren6528 If i buy a ticket and do not film any screen with video material etc i am good. The place itself isnt copyrighted.
