Mrs. Coach Taylor supported her husband so much through out the whole series and when it was time for Coach to be supportive of his wife and her career advancment, he followed through. Man I love this show.
I would like to have seen another season for Vince's senior year, but I have a hunch they won back to back state titles and he went on to play at a really big Division 1 school with a good shot on getting to the NFL. Honestly one of the best endings to any tv show ever!!! So well done

It felt like a chapter of life ended with the final show. The writers, directors, and actors did a phenomenal job capturing my attention. It almost felt like you were at the games or involved in the character’s lives.
This was one of those shows that leaves a Lasting memory, I use to throw the Mattress down of the floor & order Pizza 🍕, I’m not usually into shows that involve sports but this show had something that drew individuals in 💯.
This is one that I always come back to. As much as I love the cinema part of this, the transition from East Dillon to his new life, I feel like we deserved more. I would have loved to see the moment Vince Howard and Coach Taylor embraced after the win, after everything East Dillon had gone through to get to that point.
He joined the military after his senior year, becoming one of the deadliest soldiers in history, and then defeated the King of Wakanda in single combat. You learn valuable skills playing high school football.
i wish we got to see the lions actually make that touchdown and win. i wanted to see the lions get their glory and parade after everything they've been through.
This show hit me hard. Great writing and phenomenal characters. When this ended I went to all the filming locations since I live in Austin and I even got a chance to walk into the Panthers locker room.
I am not sure why, but that scene reminds me of the last scene of The West Wing, when Abby asks Jed Bartlet what he is thinking about on his last trip on AF1. "Tomorrow," he replies. Great series enders, both.
@@chrisbartos3352 Julie acted a like a Spoiled Brat,(Not to Mention she would fall for anyone had crush on Fast Swedish Guy/Teacher that was Married), I liked Lyla Better than Julie I get she's a Teenager but she just did Matt Wrong & didn't come off that Likeable Julie reminded me of Uppty Girl who thought was too good for anybody.
Such an amazing ending. They could have done it the easy way: 1] East Dillion Lions win, Panthers become defunct. 2] Taylors stay in Dillion. 3] Tyra gives up her dreams to complete Tim's arch. None of that happened to complete a story with greater complexity.
On a scale of How I Met Your Mother to The Office, this is pretty close to the best season ending of a show we'll probably ever see. There's also more to this scene depicting Matt and Julie in Chicago, Tim and Billy building Tim's house, Jess as a coaching assistant in Dallas, and Luke saying goodbye to Becky as he gets on a bus in an Army uniform. Ends character arcs a lot better.
I'm assuming in the Office you are referring to Michael leaving. That was not the end of the series. I agree it was a wonderful episode but the series was terrible the last 2 years without him.
Jason street partially regains his legs meaning he can only stand and walk for short periods of time Smash Williams becomes a draft steal in the nfl and goes to 4 super bowls winning only 2 of them while losing the other two to Vince Howard Jd finally grows some nuts and stands up to joe McCoy that he quits football after his junior season Luanne Saracen passes away peacefully when matt Saracen is living in the big city Riggins becomes the head coach of Dillon
No. The show never implied that. It's just people's theories. I think if JD McCoy had been the quarterback in the state game with the Lions, Buddy Garrity would have been all over it!

Great series. I wasn’t too fond of the ending. I think a better ending was for them to win the state title and have Tammy come to coach and tell him that she spoke with the college, and they were going to hire an interim dean of students for six months due to his impact on the players and he could coach the dream team and be in Dillon one more year.
Yeah that bugged me. I get their school was dirt poor (they played their games at an elementary school field for crying out loud) but the timing is what made it bad. Town Hall should've waited until a month after State Championship Game to end East Dillion. You don't do it when they are preparing for State Championship Game. It made no sense.
They should make another installment but now coach is in college and has to deal with tik tol, the NIL, NCAA. I know coach was in ncaa in season 2 but now he could be already a head coach

It ended where it should have. I am happy without them filling in the gaps. Much better than the endless Walking Dead series. Just my opinion.

Poor Stan Traub even though he didn't appear as a coach in this final scene I like to imagine he made it onto the coaching staff at the end of the day
