I've heard that phrase many, many times.
Alaska WoodBooger yea me too, I left lower 48 in 2009 on a road trip

Wow every time I here about Alaska makes me want to move up there even more
Oh ok?
Alaska is the most beautiful state in the United States.
And colorado

I believe most beautiful states are states that are In the great plains like Colorado, Utah, Texas, Kansas, Missouri, Montana and states in the south like North and south Carolina, Florida, Virgina and west coast like Alaska
AlaskanCabinFilms actually it was 7.0
That is some weird and distracting music in the background

Growing up in Alaska was the best thing to prepare me to move to LA to start my company. I like to say I’m Alaskan first, and the rest follows. So full circle to be watching Alux do this video, as I’ve been following them for a good bit. Can’t wait to visit home and make all of my fellow Alaskans proud. From the last frontier to billions
Isaac Fannin - Why would you start your company in LA? That place taxes businesses like nothing. You should consider moving it to Puerto Rico, just a suggestion.
Why would anyone want to live in LA? Alaska is way better. It smells down there. La is filthy
Alaska is drop dead gorgeous. If you never been there definitely put it on your bucket list.
i went there last summer for two weeks, and because of how much my family loved it, we’re going back this summer, june 6th, for about one and a half months.

The numerous mispronunciations of locations discussed coupled with absolutely false “facts”...this video is as accurate a portrayal of AK as the AK Bush Douches’ show offers!
Kelly Hunert if u want a good life easy go somewhere else
Visited Alaska for the last 13 years. I live here ;-)
My dream is to visit alaska & spend quality time.😍😍😍.love you alaska
Animal Lover why do you have to reply to every comment your not the only one that lives here
Host me in Alaska! I wanna come tonight
@Grace love you too. I saw your comment after 1 year🤭
Have you visited alaska yet?
No don’t, Alaska is beautiful, but the living part here is depressing 💀
As an Alaskan it’s hilarious hearing them mispronounce some the things “I didn’t know”
Why would they put in the Ted Stevens trial which was totally politically driven and thrown out in mis-trial after his aponent Mark Begich narrowly won? They left out that Ted Stevens was killed in a plane crash later.
Papa_ Xann : though I don’t disagree about Begich, Uncle Teds crash was just an unfortunate accident. I knew Sen Stevens, and his death was a sad day indeed for all Alaskans. He did more for this state than any other senator. Rest In Peace uncle Ted.
"Methods of hunting, such as use of bacon..." 7:10 --- Huh?
Bears love the smell of bacon. It'll bring them in from miles away. When in the bush, we always store our food in a cache away from living quarters for that reason. Anyway, bacon for bait has been a practice among the poachers and trophy hunters for a long, long time.
I want to visit Alaska someday and take my car and bike along when I visit so I never miss my other part of the body...
Been there 3 times...Would go back every chance possible..Great people
I lived there three times for a total of about 11 years. Twice cause of my dad's job and once cause of mine and I did a LOT to make sure I got back to Alaska. I LOVED the Summers, the Northern Lights, The Fishing and other wildlife. I coached and competed. And one thing that was really NICE in the summer time is if I could not sleep I could go out for a quick 17 mile run and be able to see like it was 8-9 pm in the lower 48. IT WAS GREAT!!!
And u get views there that u will never get anywhere else.
did you stay in winters
Finally been waiting for Tuesday.
This is quite fascinating. I hope to visit Alaska someday.😁
I lived there for a year I love all the different events and nature the state offers!!
Every Tuesday we present you with another incredible country. This week, it is Alaska.
If you're not trolling then you can go f*** yourself we are Americans
Why the background music is so annoying; Due to this I was forced to mute and watch the video :
Ok, I get it everyone “hates” music (that is not their own) but bad “facts” is what got trump elected
#8 is false the most commonly hunted game in Alaska is moose and caribou bears can interfere with any hunt so almost every Alaskan has a black bear tag
i dont :\
Ive lived in Alaska for 20 years and am alaska native. It’s beautiful here & there’s much opportunity. 💚
Wife and I spent the last two weeks of September in Alaska. I’ve traveled almost all of the US and many places in the world and Alaska is, without a doubt, one of the most beautiful places in the world. You need to go there but take a bucket of money with you. It is expensive. And by the way, when the Russians were there the decimated the native population from out right violence and diseases. The older natives are now teaching their ancient ways to the youth to ensure their way of life doesn’t disappear.
I think living in L.A. is more spendy to live. Prob not by alot but still the taxes are hi! Only 3% in Wasilla and NO state tax.
Thank you for the list! We watched this in class and it was fun to see what we agreed with and what we did not:)
Wow , you learn something new everyday 👌

I live here in Alaska for 10 years now and I just love it here because it's too peaceful for me and I love the summer season that 3hours darkness only. And I love the fresh breeze, the sunlight and I love to drive around Even though 12 at night in the summer, the green grasses and trees and I've been in different states but I didn't feel any better life than here in Alaska. In Winter, even though how heavy and thick the snow was, they're taking good care of the roads and I live in the town where the state fair of Alaska and if love fishing and hunting you're not going to be starve been you could have food in your freezer. In the summer you can plans your fresh vegetables and I live in a Valley that is windy at night sometimes so in the morning no more ice or snow anymore.
Love Alaska.Still thinking of moving to Eagle River some day someday but family obligations keep me grounded.
Uhm no, Northern exposure was filmed in Washington state
Rick Nelson I thought that too
I have been all over the world and have to say Alaska is the prettiest!
My home state. Love it. 💕
I live in Alaska and it’s the best state in the USA!!!
Alaska looks cool
I love the background music and thought it added to the content of the video. I have visited Alaska as yet but I plan to. I had two girlfriends from AK. and worked with a lady from Barrow,AK.; I also have friends that live that live in various parts of AK..
thanks for information
#1 You can see Russia from Alaska - Sarah Palin
You can see it from Whales, Alaska. Which is the mainland of Alaska and not an Island. Russia is 2 miles away from Alaska between Big Diomede and Little Diomede Island as well. You could walk there in the winter if they let you.
“i can see russia from my backyard”
Well there are two islands between Russia and Alaska, one owned by the US and the other owner by Russia. They are very close, so technically, you can see Russia from Alaska.
MY map shows 60 MILES apart!!😛
She was just saying it was close, not literally.
I’ve never visited Alaska but I’ll love to someday🤗❤️
Precious follabee.x it’s nice in certain areas I recommend going to talkeetna and if ur into skiing alesyka and Whittier Palmer and hope plus Seward it is quite fun at those locations if u have questions ask me 🙂
I'm going there on Saturday, im going to enjoy this beautiful place
How's it been so far? I mean, I know it's fantastic, but I was wondering what your thoughts are.
@@KodasGarden It was really good. Weather was great not cold. Got to do a few excursions and even seen a few humpback whales playing.
@Katone Vi Go on the Norwegian Joy Cruise. 7 days. Don't do the Beverage package, just get water, its too much money. I think there is a certain time period they have cruise like in summer months. You will see a few of the port cities (Victoria, Skagway, Juneau) on the west side of Alaska. Do some of the excursions like Canoeing, Whale watching, few boat rides, and Zip lining, can be scary at first but you will get used to it. Its a lot of fun. Hope this helps
Going to alaska for 1st time this friday 😬✌
It is truly gorgeous and breathtaking here. Not to mention peaceful and quiet.😀
I’m in school and I thank you for showing me this
My next place to visit!
WOW 😂❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🌹🙌🙏
The info about Northern Exposure is mostly known. What is not commonly known is that the filming location for downtown Cicely, Alaska was not in Alaska at all but rather Roslyn, Washington. I've been there and seen the set. it's well preserved and celebrated.
Hello, Love your video about my home state of Alaska and I didn't know some of these facts, good job!!!! There's just a few errors. Tanana is said incorrectly, and the fact about the Tanana Valley state fair had pictures of the Alaska State fair which is different. Other then that great video! :)
It’s not called the Tanana State Fair, it’s just the State Fair
Remy Fagerstrom the Alaska state fair
Remy Fagerstrom the Alaska state fair is in the valley, fym
The fair is held in Palmer, Ak
The Tanana Valley State Fair and the Palmer State Fair. Two separate fairs.
@@akbychoice They showed pictures of the Palmer State Fair but said Tanana Valley Fair...so the confusion is understandable.
Incredible country-
I have been to Alaska twice, I stayed in Palmer both times. I am a pilot so I rented an airplane and flew into the mountains the greatest and most beautiful flying I have ever done. Would like to go again.
Love the video, what is the name of the music thats playing?? I like it
i wish i visit Alaska one day ... its a wonderful place
I've lived off grid in Trapper Creek Alaska for 20 years now. Wouldn't be anywhere else. 💋❤🙂
I am an Alaskan, so I know that this video was made by someone who didn't even think to really research about Alaska. There are so many mistakes.
The “WHAT”?! ...Valley State Fair?! 🤣🤣
We love living in Alaska. We have a RUclips channel as well showing life in Alaska:)
Never visited alaska, but, would love to though. In fact I plan to retire there :-D
Moving there in 28 days. can't wait to be home
Y’all sleepy on Alaska
People fr forget about us up here...
Just moved to Alaska for seasonal work in Healy, if you've never been you definitely should!
Most beautiful states are 1 Hawaii 2 Alaska 3 California 4 New York
Yes,I enjoyed this one. Three million lakes...
I lived there for 4 years the air is so fresh
How do you heat your igloos?
But now a serious question: Can you give some price examples from alaska? (a month of rent, a gallon of milk, a meal in a regular restaurant...) I’m just curious how different it is.
@@janosmerges4946 With the exception of Barrow and very rural parts of the state, most of the prices averages the same in the lower 48 states from grocery shopping to eating out. However, online purchases, if they're available, can swing between cost more and/or a longer delivery time.
How did I not see this video until know and I live in Alaska
Wow that's awesome fantastic 👏 yes Alaska 💯 😅❤👍💖🌹🌈
Ka kakal chak lutuk👍👍
9:47 try them “elephant ears” at the fair people they’re good

I have Compassion what are Elephant Ears?
I have Compassion my favorite food up here is moose soup, salmon, and fry bread
Yes they're delicious!!!
Im visiting Alaska for vacation. I want to live there
Yes, I have visited Alaska four times in the last three years. I am going sgain in 2020. I love Alaska. Fact: I was four (4) years old when Alaska became a state.
wow
No wonder all the fishing holes are crowded . Damn tourists.
Million times thank you for this one! :D if I would live in the United States, I would like to live in the Alaska.
Sarah Palin showed the green light for the hunting of the wolves with the helicopters. The hunter shoots the wolf from the helicopter. That was something from what she lost my support and respect. Otherwise I'm kind of a Republican.
that her daughter was a teenage mother was kind of a big pr shock for her, but you have to remember that having a child at the age of 16 or 17 is very common these days that you don't even pay attention to that anymore. It has lost its shock value and has became mainstream.
Hey Alux Team you all are doing great Job to give Knowledge to each and every Pepole every day ITS REALLY GOOD ..@K@$#..
We appreciate it Akash!
Ah yes, my favorite country, Alaska.
Also, it's strange that you mispronounced Talkeetna in #13 when you pronounced it correctly in #11
It might be a computer voice.
Hey wait, you forgot about the Alaska State Bird; the mosquito! ;-) Been there twice, would love to go back. Most memorable moment; parachuted on to a wildfire 100 miles inside of the Article Circle at 1AM.
Bill Fournier I’m not sure if this was a joke or not, but the State Bird is actually a Willow Ptarmigan :)
Been there 3 times being Sitka my favorite place
Alaskas like mini Canada 🇨🇦 lol
Thanks for sharing the last videos !
I’m from Alaska lol
Like if you are to!!!
You should do a video on Oregon
Camden Fobert it would be called the whiny hippy state. I left Oregon for Alaska in 2006. That place is lame now
Nice
I'm Tanzanian and I like getting into ALASKA but I have no more efforts to get even in Johannesburg -south Africa.....my biggest inspiration is to stay in ALASKA but poor I!!!! I have no right living in the jungle without a capital.....love you Alaska...like your Denali park
Lived in Juneau Alaska from September 1982 to September 2003 but it cost to much to live up there on disability. Last time I was in Alaska was Anchorage and Eagle river for about a month in 2006
We out here in Alaska!
I seen 10 times video is so ggod
Can you spellll?
Alaska State fair in Palmer is the best at the end of August. Cancelled this year due to coved-19, Tanana up in Fairbanks was also cancelled. 2020 go figure lol.
Its like 15 switzerland in one area

This video is hilarious as an Alaskan.
I used to want to go there to meet Linda Barsi. But she (got engaged and) moved to CA.
Who else here is in Alaska?
Samon King im from Healy
I grow weed in Alaska
I moved here in Sept. 1961 (as a baby) and been here most of the time. from 1 year old to 60 years old. Been to Washington, Oregon, SoCal, Colorado and Alaska is THE place to be. Only approx. 700,000 ppl in the entire state. I grew up in Anchorage and moved to Wasilla in '83. Anchorage was just too big for me. For everyone else Alaska is 2 and a half the size of Texas (which is the 2nd largest state)
My friends that have never been or lived in Alaska think it is a icy wasteland
Since when Alaska was a country ?
i have a friend that was stationed in fort riggs he told me if you go to alaska dont go to porlock or port chatem
Good info and nice voice lady but said Tanana wrong and Barrow was charged back to Utqiagvik in 2016.
Stretches from the Aleutian Islands (which are the most western part of the State) in to the Eastern Hemisphere...makes it sound like a very small state...wow, you'd think you could use your "future billionaires" knowledge to write a decent script
Yes it stretches westerly across the International Date Line. Alaska is the most easterly and most westerly land/nation on earth. (I've been to Attu Island with a birding group)
❤❤❤
I just want to be the 300th commenter
It is a real shame that so much of my state is locked up in National Parks. Land of no use. It has been a land grab by the federal government up here since we became a state. It is no coincidence that many of these Parks hold tremendous amounts of precious minerals. The Federal Government stole the mining land in Kantishna and in the Wrangles from the mine owners.
Good luck accessing any of that, even if it wasn't national lands. And the federal government didn't grab up the land. The state of Alaska turned the control of those lands over to the federal government since they knew they didn't have the resources to manage it all.
We can’t even drive in Denali without a lottery pass. Fuckin bullshit. I’m about ready to fly past the bridge and no car road and follow the buses which is bullshit extorting people for like 60$ just to see what is already ours we the people own that shit
"Ice coveres, uninhabitable" bro ive gone through 100+ temps in willow alaska and gone to Utqiagvik in 50+ weather, people will live anywhere in here, theres just not enough people here yet
Not true. I’m from Alaska. 😂 she makes it feel like a icy mountain but naw there’s some city’s. And it’s very sunny
