First off...LOVE the new production quality! Time well spent. Good info on the settings. Like I said when we spoke, our settings were pretty close already. That change from my 1.25x to your 1.75x helped to break me out of a couple day slump. I also think you said something that may slip past most...these settings change from day to day. Not drastically, but one day I'm slow and need to ramp up sensitivity, others I need to slow down, so settings move from time to time. Good vid, good info....good...guy? I think so.
I watched this video a while back and made some of the changes you suggested from memory. Yesterday I took screenshots and printed out your settings, and mirrored them top to bottom (except paddles). Within 15min I'd unlocked some golds in the range that had been stuck at silver for a while. That done while it still felt new and uncomfortable. Played some Shootout and after a few games I really started seeing some benefit. Sure I'll adjust some over time, but these settings really feel like they'll work well for me. Thanks for putting in the work.
Loving the content. I just started getting into this game around 2 months ago, and your vids have been a great help. I find it unfortunate that the devs constantly shaft creators and the community. So much potential, but all Bohemia cares about is the money.
Just tried the settings in shootout came second then first latter getting a 10 kill streak, it was strange at first and needs getting used to but I never got a 10 kill streak before and it wasn’t coincidental, thanks man 👍
@@JealousFist I see where you are coming from now about the recoil, also I feel I kept my crosshair on a fast moving more often rendering the zigzagger movement less reliable. I thought I’d be better centred with a slower crosshair but it somehow makes it harder to hit moving targets for me personally. Cheers again mate 👍

I'm not 100% happy with this video but it's good enough to teach and show people so they don't get owned over and again. This video has been a goal of mine for like over a year or or something. hey, just wanted to say I tried these settings and I'm really impressed. I can definitely say they have helped my game play. I'm by no means a great player but I'm okay I only really play at weekends but the first day trying these settings I was able to get threat three times in a couple hours where as in about 4 months of playing I had 3 total in that time. might not account for much but I feel the settings really worked for me thanks fist 👊

The back paddles are GAME CHANGING! It was hard to get used to and I was getting absolutely MURDERED for a month whilst getting used to them but it's worth it, bro. You see how I move around in the Shootout game? Not the shooting just the moving? That's not possible without the Elite controllers back paddles. Thanks you so much, bro! Can't wait to hear how switching to the extra buttons works for you. It was a very difficult process for myself to get used to having all the extra buttons on the back. I've been playing shooting games without the back paddles for over 20 years now. It was extremely rough for me. Interested to know how it is for a younger person. 🙏🤘👍

Love this game been playing for the last couple of months, I love shootout but I hate encounter as I lose nearly every gunfight, massively frustrating. I can spend ten minutes gathering decent supplies only to be killed every time. The recoil just kills the game. I'll definitely give the controls ago and see how I get on. Thanks

@@JealousFist so after 2 weeks of testing these settings, I absolutely love the setting changes. most of the settings I didnt have to change but the main ones that helped out was the aim inner deadzone and outer deadzone. great work yet again jealousfist
I returned to this game recently after taking a long break. Long story short, I ran into enough cheaters (on console, every time I tried to play it) that I deleted the game and likely won’t be playing it again. It’s a shame, because I really enjoyed it for what it was, I thought the gunplay and character movement was great, and actually meant something (meaning you had to be good to do good, and it actually required skill/practice). But I can only take having blatant cheaters own me and everyone else in the lobby so much before I just deem a game busted. Mouse and keyboard on console, modded controllers, seeing through walls, aimbot, auto drop/jump, you name it, it’s going on in Vigor (just like every new cod). Not at all worth the frustration.
It's a good way to play still if one can't afford the good stuff🤷♂️🤘👍 I know of at least 1 top ten player who plays that style currently. He destroys people 😆
That is a decision you should make on your own. I would recommend scrolling through the rewards of all of them and seeing which one, which season, has rewards that you feel are the most advantageous to you right now.

@@JealousFist Sorry. In the video your settings for your elite one seem complex to me. Are they like sensitivity and configuration settings for game performance? I’m also on PlayStation with the base DualSense controller. Is there nothing I should worry about because it’s a different console and, I’m using their basic controller? I also see options like trigger effect intensity in the controller settings.
The settings that I showed that do not involve the Xbox Elite Series 2 controller should work just fine on the PlayStation. I think, don't quote me on this, that a bunch of Playbaes have successfully used these settings 🤞

Your settings don't work for me at all. HOWEVER scaling the numbers similar to the way you have them scaled I was able to find something that works well for me. So thank you very much for the baseline to go off of.

Before I say what I'm going to say I want you to know I don't know your situation or your family or your financials. What I'm saying only applies if you are able to and are willing to. Dude, if love vigor, a lot, like really a lot. Like I do. I would go and buy an Xbox series x or Series s. Vigor is best played and experienced on Xbox. This is an objective statement of fact not opinion. Anybody who's honest and not some Fanboy will tell you the same. That way you can have a proper controller. Proper settings. And you'll be able to see correctly and not only that compared to playing on the switch it'll be like your characters on super steroids in combat situations. I I understand that's kind of an extreme option but if you really want to play Vigor for real then you have to have an Xbox. I have not played it on Nintendo but I have on the PlayStation. It's not the same game on PlayStation. It looks the same and is the same game obviously. But it really is not like playing the game on Xbox.

If someone fires a LMG onscreen i usally freeze for 1 sec😂, really wanna try the game on PS5 or xbox, as i only have played it like this. Pc port would be nice but will never happen when you look at the dev team 💀
I highly recommend if you love the game that much and want to play it at its best, an Xbox. The game plays and is experienced best on Xbox. It's not anywhere near the same on PlayStation. It looks the same and everything and it is the game but the player base is much different. If you want to play the game and learn it good and hard get an Xbox come to our Norway here 🤘🤘🤘

You literally have to be built different to play claw style. I don't understand it and I never will... my hand just doesn't do that kind of movement lol
I can do 20-0 on COD no problem...Vigor I get about 1 kill for every 20 deaths. I hate the aiming in this game....it just seems so unpolished and low budget. I do bad in other low budget shooters like H1Z1....I do great on GTA 5...and before you say it....I actually play on free aim lobbies on GTA 5 so there is no assistance.
U must not know what deadzones actually do, because having ur outer deadzone set to the smallest setting in game is absolutely wrong. When u have it set like that ur only using 25% of the entire space ur analog is capable of traversing. Along with ur inner deadzone being the smallest setting makes it to where ur have the smallest space to work with. Ur deadzones should be inner smallest possible and outer close to the max u can in game if not maxed out. Thst way u have the maximum area to use while aiming
@JealousFist ya man. I hope it made sense how I explained it. I'm not the best at explaining stuff but basically ur inner deadzone needs to be small, that's the space ur analog doesn't work. So if u have no stick drift u can lower that as low as game will let u. Then outer is the total space u have to transverse in the space. So u want that maxed out for most surface area to move analog stick. Hopefully that makes sense. Now remember changing ur deadzones will affect ur sens. So u will have to adjust sens again after setting new deadzones

Like I said in the video I am not an expert at settings and it's been through a lot of trial and error and talking to other players to get to where I am. I've been having real problems with reconciling having my high turning and snapping on speed but then losing the fine adjustments. I think this is what I need to get past that. This could be potentially huge for myself so thank you 🙏🙏🙏🙏

@@JealousFist so after 2 weeks of testing these settings, I absolutely love the setting changes. most of the settings I didnt have to change but the main ones that helped out was the aim inner deadzone and outer deadzone. great work yet again jealousfist

I returned to this game recently after taking a long break. Long story short, I ran into enough cheaters (on console, every time I tried to play it) that I deleted the game and likely won’t be playing it again. It’s a shame, because I really enjoyed it for what it was, I thought the gunplay and character movement was great, and actually meant something (meaning you had to be good to do good, and it actually required skill/practice). But I can only take having blatant cheaters own me and everyone else in the lobby so much before I just deem a game busted.
Mouse and keyboard on console, modded controllers, seeing through walls, aimbot, auto drop/jump, you name it, it’s going on in Vigor (just like every new cod).
Not at all worth the frustration.

ES16, AKM, RAK, M2 Carbine and SKS are all decent White Rarity guns. Both shotguns are good if you're close and don't miss.

That is a decision you should make on your own. I would recommend scrolling through the rewards of all of them and seeing which one, which season, has rewards that you feel are the most advantageous to you right now.

@@JealousFist Sorry. In the video your settings for your elite one seem complex to me. Are they like sensitivity and configuration settings for game performance? I’m also on PlayStation with the base DualSense controller. Is there nothing I should worry about because it’s a different console and, I’m using their basic controller? I also see options like trigger effect intensity in the controller settings.
The settings that I showed that do not involve the Xbox Elite Series 2 controller should work just fine on the PlayStation.

Dude, if love vigor, a lot, like really a lot. Like I do. I would go and buy an Xbox series x or Series s. Vigor is best played and experienced on Xbox. This is an objective statement of fact not opinion.

That way you can have a proper controller. Proper settings. And you'll be able to see correctly and not only that compared to playing on the switch it'll be like your characters on super steroids in combat situations.

I have not played it on Nintendo but I have on the PlayStation. It's not the same game on PlayStation. It looks the same and is the same game obviously. But it really is not like playing the game on Xbox.

Basic and advanced controls yes. You just can't do what I did to my controllers software in the Elite Series.

@@JealousFist Yeah but main issue is low framerate, rubberbanding and laggs and high inputlag. If someone fires a LMG onscreen i usally freeze for 1 sec😂, really wanna try the game on PS5 or xbox, as i only have played it like this. Pc port would be nice but will never happen when you look at the dev team 💀

I highly recommend if you love the game that much and want to play it at its best, an Xbox.
The game plays and is experienced best on Xbox. It's not anywhere near the same on PlayStation. It looks the same and everything and it is the game but the player base is much different.

I can do 20-0 on COD no problem...Vigor I get about 1 kill for every 20 deaths. I hate the aiming in this game....it just seems so unpolished and low budget. I do bad in other low budget shooters like H1Z1....I do great on GTA 5...and before you say it....I actually play on free aim lobbies on GTA 5 so there is no assistance.

U must not know what deadzones actually do, because having ur outer deadzone set to the smallest setting in game is absolutely wrong. When u have it set like that ur only using 25% of the entire space ur analog is capable of traversing. Along with ur inner deadzone being the smallest setting makes it to where ur have the smallest space to work with. Ur deadzones should be inner smallest possible and outer close to the max u can in game if not maxed out. Thst way u have the maximum area to use while aiming

@JealousFist ya man. I hope it made sense how I explained it. I'm not the best at explaining stuff but basically ur inner deadzone needs to be small, that's the space ur analog doesn't work. So if u have no stick drift u can lower that as low as game will let u. Then outer is the total space u have to transverse in the space. So u want that maxed out for most surface area to move analog stick. Hopefully that makes sense. Now remember changing ur deadzones will affect ur sens. So u will have to adjust sens again after setting new deadzones

Like I said in the video I am not an expert at settings and it's been through a lot of trial and error and talking to other players to get to where I am.
I've been having real problems with reconciling having my high turning and snapping on speed but then losing the fine adjustments. I think this is what I need to get past that.

I learned that the devs added NPCs and I stopped playing and then they got mad about me not making positive content and they fired me.
