Real happy to see your stop in Mebane. While I have only been there on one occasion, one of my sons lives up there, and really likes the feel and direction the town is taking. And, I'm glad to see that they are still on a train line. Thanks for the tour, and happy trails Timothy.
Mebane is a lovely town. Wild that there is a massive outlet mall five minutes down the street. When I worked in Hillsborough (you should visit there, too!) I used to come to Mebane all the time.
I’ve visited Mebane on several occasions and always stop for lunch or dinner at one of the downtown restaurants and browse through a few shops. The skateshop grocery is just that, a skateboard shop with a few shelves of snacks and staple groceries. Had a great burger at Junction on 70. Perhaps my favorite restaurant in town. The downtown is usually relatively active with pedestrians and this activity places Mebane high on my list should I ever decide to relocate back to that portion of the state. Your video does a good job of highlighting one of the most disappointing features of the town…..the proliferation of unsightly power lines which destroy any chance of a good view or photograph of the town’s otherwise lovely architecture.
Nice little town that looks well kept with a healthy business base. Thanks Timothy.
You’re welcome, Terry 👍

Looks like a nice little town. Not a lot of outside traffic. Probably better that way. On to the next!❤
I agree. And I’m heading out tomorrow to check off some more towns.

It is definitely a beautiful town. And so is Hillsborough. Here is the link to that video.

Thank you for sharing your experience in Mebane and for the restaurant tips. Very helpful.👍
Hey Timothy. What time of day is this? Lots of cars but little foot traffic,
Around 11:30 am
OK. By the way, Bodegas are Latino convenience stores/markets.
@rachelbey7008 Thanks for the clarification. And thanks for watching. 😀
